If you want to get a head start on mastering the Canberra systems, or are just curious as to how much depth has been included in the Canberra then you can download the manual ahead of release tomorrow evening from here: http://microsites.justflight.info/ca...pr9_manual.pdf

Pre-ordered last week, very much looking forward to this.

Considering JF make by far the most interesting aircraft types as far as I'm concerned, if this really is a new era of high quality JF aircraft then I'm very excited. I can't wait for the VC10!

Please don't stop doing these classic British types!

Nick

Looking very nice. I'm not going to risk pre-ordering - paying to be a beta-tester ain't my thang.

If it turns out to have no glaring bugs then I'll certainly purchase - the realistic flight dynamics sound interesting to say the least! Graphically it looks wonderful. Nice one JF!

Now that the vale of beta testing is over, I can comment like Paul and tell you that this is a lovely aircraft and is a quality addon. With my mid-range system, I get great FPS and it fly's like a dream. Excellent over all system modelling that really captures the era and the character of the Canberra, and particularly the PR9. It was over-powered and pilots had to be careful not to exceed VNE and overstress the airframe; when at light weights, it gave a very impressive display which can re-produced with this model!  Watch for the Canberra idiosyncrasies - powerful engines, widely spaced resulting in demanding handling if carrying out a single engine approach with a small component of cross wind! If you don't love it, I will my hat!

Cheers, Bill.

If you need beta testers for other products like you alluded (or even PR9 software updates), feel free to PM me as well.  I have a variety of FS beta, and real-world flight test, experience.

Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM

Brilliant. I remember seeing my first Canberra display at an airshow in Cape Town in 1978. I was 8. It was part of the SAAF rec squadron display. Blue/grey colour. Awesome
