The latest Fixer download 'about' says 29, Steve's blog says it's 30. Who knows?! :P

I never get them either, but I also subscribe to Steve's blog and he posts product updates there as well. Those I receive.

Me too. I've just installed the latest version (.29) and find the Rain Shader is greyed out. Any clues as to why that should be? I did do the Rain40.fx thing the other day.

Oooops... you done broke it Ron..

OK - it recognises that there are changes made which may be important, so it ignores that option of the install.

If you want to fix it - you can try reversing the change, starting the Controller and then see if the box comes back. I haven't tried this, but it possibly will do. If not - (with the changes reversed) un-install and reinstall the libraries - it should then take effect as if it were a complete virgin system.

If that doesn't fix it - then delete the ShaderHLSL folder and put the original back in it's place.

If you don't have that one I have it here.

ATB,

Ditto......and then when you go to the site there is no indication at all of which version you are downloading.

I didn't even do anything! I wasn't even THERE!

Cheers Paul, fixed it. What was it about the rain that the Fixer objected to?

It probably sees that the (Rain40.fx) file size (1.418 kB default) is different (Matt's is 1.891 kB), and so it shouts "Unclean!  Unclean!" and then the box becomes untickable.
