Razbam Metroliner Released

I'm not aware of any special code related to the landing gear in the model file. Anything else is controlled by the contact points in the aircraft.cfg, so that's where I'd look first.

Thanks, so I figured. I did a clean install of the plane, and now the autopilot will not hold the selected altitude. the ARM indicator is on on the selector, the pedestal yaw damper switch is on, but this thing will not hold or acquire any altitude. What am I doing wrong, please?

Have you clicked on the ALT button on the 2D AP as well ( even though you have the yaw damper switch on)?

Hello ...

Does anybody know how to contact Rasbam simulations?

I bought the Metroliner SA227-BC for FSX from their web store at  http://razbamsimulations  then Stores->FSX and paid via paypal. When loggin into  my account, there is a download link, but that link does not work at all. Email adresses given on the homepage do not work. Sending them an note via Web form did not result in any  answer. Now what ...?

Any tips ? . -ernst

I am a bit old-fashioned. Born '55 .... so no FB !

Is there a PM available or a person that might be in close connection with Razbam you know of.

Thx Razbam!

Problem  solved. Got contact via email and Razbam sent a dropbox link. Installation  (version 1.1 for FSX)  then went smooth and as expected. After some test flights I  must say that this is a very interesting plane with a distinct character. I like it and it's well worth the money (was only 10€).

@ EchoCharley I too, bought the SA-227 program from Razbam and after multiple failed attempts to contact about inability to download contacted PayPal, who was also unable to contact Razbam, and subsequently reversed the funds. Please share the email that you were successful with. Razbam only charges $10 for the version compatible with both Prepar3d and FS. Which base program are you using? Any comments?I intend to fly the real world 227 and am looking for any and all available aids to become familiar with this a/c. Thanks in advance, Bill

@MatureAviator I didn't do anythig special but sent them an email via their Web page at  FSX-shop https://razbamsimulations.com. "contact us" (bottom left) with order number and billing confirmation.

Sent it 21st January and got an answer 4th February containing a link to a "drive.google.com" zip archiv to download the Metroliner.

So I guess they are very, very slow on answering support request. And  obviously their FSX-shop is not really flawless, which is a shame!!  as it should generate a download link automatically after payment received.

The RAZBAM Metroliner seems to have a bug with the radios COM1 and COM2.

Say you want to switch the next freq up from 127.00 Mhz, Then it goes (+.02) to 127.02, which is OK.

But for every frequenz above 128.00 Mhz, it switches (+.03) that is,  it switches to 128.03 !! And that is wrong. I cannot set 128.02, 129.02, 130.02  and so on.

Anybody observed that behaviour already ?

I was asked to provide Lzamm's KAP140 and modded EHSI because @lzamm lost his files in a disk and Dropbox crash. As I do not have the original files either, here is what I could find in my archived Metro III installation folder.

Disclaimer:

  • This file is provided as-is.
  • I refuse to support this as I do not use FSX/P3D anymore
  • This is from my personal merged install, i.e. my mods and Lzamm's EHSI/KAP
  • There is an entry for my Maintenance Income Tool in the panel.cfg. Either download the rest of the installation files and have fun witth it or remove its related entries from the panel.cfg

Link:

Download from GoogleDrive

Again: I WILL NOT OFFER SUPPORT FOR THIS. You're on your own. Good luck.

Thanks Bjoern.  Users are free to contact me about the mod however no guarantees as I don't use FSX any more either:)

Jim...err, it would be useful telling people where you found it. Nothing worse than having a problem, finding a thread about said problem and reading a simple "Never mind, solved it." as a reply.

But in case anyone's wondering: The SAS system switches are well hidden on the indictor to the left of the fuel flow/crossfeed indicators.

In case anyone else was looking for hours, they are located by clicking on a very nondescript black square near the top of the panel to the left of the X flow panel as mentioned above.
