Don't know if many of you are aware of this but Rogers Cable in Canada has the Westjet Channel. It's like the fireplace channel but shows planes on the ramp being serviced accompanied by relaxing music and also features Westjet destinations. Nice relaxing HD for the aviation enthusiast.

It seems like Westjet would be an awesome place to work for, too bad they are only seasonal at ORD.

Rogers 206. Sadly it seems it's only on till Feb. Hopefully they'll keep it on.

When i was doing my flight training/college, i worked for Westjet at my local airport for about 1.5 years. I was a ramp attendant and i gotta say they're a top notch airline. I would love to fly for them in the future, everyone there from the pilots down to ramp and everyone in between is super nice and all work great together. This company REALLY has their stuff in order.

Makes sense. Their CEO/founder came from Southwest Airlines who is also a top notch company. I used to work for them and they promote that same type of atmosphere there as well. Being in the airline industry, I have heard nothing but great things about Westjet though I have not been fortunate enough to fly with them yet.

I found it while surfing the other night, too. Delightful surprise! I hope it stays on and they include camera views from the aircraft tail.

Westjet is awesome and I wish we could get that here. Jetstar could do that here but watching an airline making mistakes and cancelling flights and angry customers is hardly entertainment.
