Having problems download the newest version for DX10 from the flightsim store,  My current version is1.3 build 34, and I wanted to download the newest version.

 

I keep on getting the message that could not be verified, never had this problem before.  Using Internet Explorer 10 and I have Norton disabled.

 

Please help me!!!!!

I am sorry but I cannot really help much, you need to contact the flight sim store. If they cannot help I can ultimately send you a copy with the other installer. But there really shouldn't be a problem downloading.

I'd be happy to assist you rsperge. When you get the "could not be verified" message when exactly does it happen? Can you please very specific as to when the error occurs and what the exact message is?

for me it's problem for download, no connexion, no download

log into my account/tab/my account/next page my account information/go down on this page, shows in black my orders/click, view my download files, now the page on top says/download  your items here/click download, shows orders see, Steve's link says 9.26mb, now after it downloads the entire file, which only take a few seconds/    get the error message/     says the following:     missing the publisher of DX10SceneryFixer.exe couldn't be verified.

 

that's it up to detail,  using IE 10, Norton is disabled,   and never had this problem before.

Try a different browser, like firefox

still need help, had my computer tech guy, to do maintenance on my computer, still have same problem, as error mentioned above. Steve maybe you can send it to me by email would greatly appreciate it.  Must have tried at least 15 times from Flightsim no luck.

 

Whatever way works best, just want to update it,  really frustrating.

it gives me a link to Registry Reviver, personally don't feel comfortable downloading and then using a registry cleaner.  Heard too many stories about registry cleaners, sometimes do more harm than good.

 

Any other way, this is the only site I have problems with on my computer.

I assume that you are saving the file when you download it and the error warning occurs when you try and run it correct?

 

Find the downloaded file and right click and go into properties then you should be able to turn the check off.

 

However is this windows 7 or windows 8? - what does the warning actually say - is there no option to ignore it?

Can you take  screenshot and email it to me and Adrian at the FSS Store?

problem fixed, all Had to do with my settings for IE 10 had to make it a trusted site, got it and happy camper, for a product that gives the fsx community a game changer, and offers a new experience about fsx.

I wasn't aware of any updates as I have not received emails from the vendor telling me there was one available.

That is correct I intend to try and get one sent tomorrow. I still have a nervousness about the initial version 1.0 where the FSS wrapper had some issues uninstalling hence I need to work on the exact email wording.

 

However there is a post at the head of this forum where I announce as soon as its uploaded to the FSS servers.

I see that you got the email advisory sorted out, thanks for the update.  Great customer service as usual Steve.  Haven't updated since build #19, looking forward to giving this a spin.
