FS 9.95 never looked so good.

Recommended Posts

Some cockpits, some scenery, very nice, all.

How about some Japanese airports, then?

Not sure why I chose a freighter to go about the place, but there it is... these are Overland airports, with the Urakawa - Airport Ground Vehicles addon. When released, these had such a performance hit! With better computers today, they just add such a dimension... on a par with the Pabst vehicles any day.

More Kansai, an all-time excellent FS9.5 model of a fantastic bit of engineering and architecture:

check those cars out!

The second from left, Fiat 124, can be seen still nowadays as licence-built VAZ 2101 in CIS countries. Perhaps, one day I bring one with me from my journeys if I can't afford a MiG-21 or Tu-134 for personal use... :lol:

Harald, what trees are you using?

If only I knew that... I choose them from one of the many freeware trees available in the libraries after much testing. They are from around 2006/2007.

Btw, more interesting cars:

And... now that the AES for ZSPD has been released, Shanghai comes alive.

(You have to remember to place the patch file in TWO locations!)

More GSV"s than you can ever desire...

More of a Plastic Aeroplane flyer myself, but can't help being stunned by that steam cockpit, it is beautifully done. (Lucky 110.90 is a common frequency, eh?)

Not even close, FS AI is timid as a mouse; I've been trying for years to get them to land within a fortnight of the preceding plane...

Hello John, well spotted! I am updating all my panels …not just to higher definition bitmaps. :Nerd: ……saving the best (L-1011) 'till last. :Love:

I am writing the fuel panel code today….thankfully most of it I can be taken from the 742, FS fuel pumps/selectors/crossfeeds really is a 'mare!  :Hypnotized:

The model is the Aerosim DC-8 (note the cargo model looks better than the pax model)

I have a tip for the FS massive (those who do not know already)

If one adds the line Type=special to a window in your panel cfg the window will seen in any view (i.e outside of the cockpit)

[Window04]
VISIBLE=0
position=2
size_mm=204,80
child_3d=0
Type=SPECIAL
background_color=0,0,0
ident=Posky Utility
gauge00=Pky_Util!Pky_Init, 0, 0
gauge01=Pky_Util!Pky_Timer, 0, 0
gauge02=Pky_util!Pky_Util, 0, 0

Useful for the POSKY door/GSU utility for example. (one can operate doors etc from outside of the aircraft)

In my DC-8-62's case….. as it does not have an APU I can operate my air cart simulation from out side of the aircraft.

…in fact one can do anything from out side the aircraft B)
