 i to am having the Increase in shimmering (Before SweetFx i had no shimmering with SuperSampling enabled) But now even with it enabled the shimmering comes back.

Shimmering only occurs with Sweetfx 

 

When up close everything looks superb (Shots above) but when Flying the shimmering from a distance (Wich supersampling gets rid off) comes back with Sweetfx?? ;-(

While we're talking Hungarian scenery, have any of you tried the splendid Pipis-Hegy LHGY scenery by the Szabo brothers? It's at least the equal of the LHSimulations sceneries. I can't post pictures at the moment, but I think if you looked it up, you'd be astounded. This scenery should be on everybodys hard drive...

Yes it's been mentioned :-) i believe i posted some pics on the previous page along with the file-name (that scenery is spectacular) B)

UPDATE:  B)  I found that SweetFx works best with a third party Radeon Utility (this utility has Sweet Fx integrated into it and setting it up is a Breeze (No need to drag the Sweet Fx files into your Root Directory just simply Create a Profile Point the utility to sweet effect files and done.

 

Ive chosen SW-3 from the 15 Pre-sets i have I've been getting some votes on my FB Screenshot page and also over @ the other forums and 1 or 2 votes here on the following Pre--sets  SW-13 / SW-3 / SW-5........ SW-13 being the highest I Will wait a while and see if i get anymore votes in the meantime  i've decided to stick to  tSW-3 out of the 15 Pre-sets i have.

SW-3 was my pick as most photographic, but that's the best part of SFX: you can so easily fiddle with it.

I wasn't going to post this, because of the Wilga, erm, problem, alluded to previously, but the scenery probably carries it...

 

EDIT: Just one more, great scenery, and you also get bits surrounding the strip too!

Hey Matthew, I'm not sure about the shimmering problem I had. Many moons ago. T

That's quite alright Jon Although impressed with the quality im getting with SweetFx up close i've decided to stick with ENB  B) Once in the air SweetFx is great but the shimmering  is quite annoying B)

 

At least until i can find out how to get rid of that shimmering, I set the super-sampling and enabled other features in Radeon Pro The shimmering is less visible but still there. (The cause is definitely SweetFx as i don't  experience any shimmering whatsoever with ENB) 

 

Note: SuperSampling has always been my solution until SweetFx came along

Well, no, typo actually. The effect is not affecting me, at all...

But remember the 707/727/737 all share the same front end, so it's not like mixing up a Boeing and an Airbus, is it??

FS2004 Has its advantages (Performance overall for some of us still with Mid Range PC's) 

 

 I love FSX and their ORBX scenery also i think their Amazing (guess ill have to wait for an Upgrade) B)

LOL   The second set of shots with the Red beetle is not Hungarian its actually in the US. :-)

Again: Hungary. It's the Budaörs Airport from Aerosoft's Budapest 2008 scenery. I use it without the integrated LHBP but with LHSimulations' LHBP instead.

 

The other shots are made at EDAH Heringsdorf by Captain7, btw.
