Should I tweak my Raleighs?

Featured Replies

Frankly a question I'd never considered until about an hour ago but wow, what a difference.

Cloud shadows and the raleigh tweak result in the most realistic scenery I've ever seen in a flight sim! It adds so much depth and realism! Beautiful pics!

Definitely. The depth is very immersive. Thanks for posting the values Mik. Let's see what Pascal and LR can come up with together!

Super great shots!

Very realistic indeed!

Enjoy flying and happy landings.

Looking forward to the bright future of this wonderful simulator! ;-)

These tweaks are great, it gives XPX a whole new look, I only wish these settings find their way into the upcoming 10.30 update. As great as these tweaks are, I don't want to spend too much time tweaking again as I did in another sim.

Nice shots, just to be clear, you can't use this and Sky Maxx Pro right, we have to go back to the regular XPX  cloud/weather rendering?

thanks

My experience is that you can use raleigh tweaks, but not cloud shadow tweak.

Those look amazing.  Between this and the P3Dv2.1 release, I am going to have my hands full.

Yes unfortunately that is true. John is aware of this development and is working on the shadows I believe. Giving him some encouragment along the way over at X-Aviation probably wouldn't go amiss...

Excuse me, I've been absent the past week. What are these two new tweaks?

Thanks, Ian
