February 11, 201412 yr I know that Cold-War era military aircraft isn't everyone's "cup of tea" but I think all of us can agree that Michael Pearson has truly proved himself to be one of the most prolific and talented freeware providers in the history of our hobby... In the past two years he has released an astonishing number of military AI aircraft packages for FS9. Do a library search and you will be amazed at the variety and quality of the work he has released. It seems like every month, and recently every week or two, he releases a new package. Along with people like Nick Black, John Young, Jake Burrus and other AI developers, we can populate our FS skies with some of the most fascinating and in some cases most beautiful aircraft that have ever flown. (Mirage III, F104 and perhaps above all, Hawker Hunter??)... I think he deserves some public recognition for his prolific and excellent work and the dedication he has shown to his goal of bringing to life a generation of great military aircraft... THANK YOU MICHAEL!!! Well done mate!!Ian
February 11, 201412 yr Great to see the way he developed from painter to modeller... the guy's a machine!
February 11, 201412 yr Great to see the way he developed from painter to modeller... the guy's a machine! Wow! I did not know he modelled as well now. I have done a quick search and am blown away!….he certainly deserves a FS medal of honour. :Applause: My FS Videos
February 11, 201412 yr Well said Ian. It must also be acknowledged Michael has contributed 230 projects for FSX as well. Over 3000 files all told. :im Not Worthy: :clapping: :drinks: :db: Strange that with his interest in things military none of the combat simulators has received his 'touch.' No time I suppose.
February 11, 201412 yr You're perfectly right, Ian! With an upcoming French scenery for CalClassic some of his wonderful Mirage III will be included as AI and static - with his kind agreement. Some of his F-102 and F-104 are also shown as AI traffic in the newly released 1962 Texas Airports of Juan Antonio Martinez, provided requested models are installed. BTW, this extensive scenery, depicting also several Texan air bases and naval air stations, is available at Flightsim.com. Bernard Visit: Retroavia Forum - FS9 in the pasts
February 11, 201412 yr Plus one Ian and great of you to point it out. Michael is a classic example of a workaholic when it comes to FS. He rightfully deserves any and all recognition and praise that he might get - should get. Mel
