March 4, 201412 yr Hi guys! I have the PMDG 737 - 800 package and want to make flights as real as it gest in FSX, so i have two questions: 1) I' am ineterested to follow real Ryanair procedures and have found the Ariane Boeing 737 X2 Ryanair Airlines Ops product. From what i understand, this is an expansion for a Boeing 737 base pack version, and comes witch an extensive ryanair specific documentation (Flight Operation Manual, new checklist card, etc), realistic flight plans and other things. According to simmarket.com:'' All Printable PDF Documents and Flights are COMPATIBLE WITH ANY DEVELOPER AIRLINE AIRCRAFT PACKAGES''. My question is, if a have access to the documentation by bying only this expansion or do i have to by the whole package? Otherwise, Is there another place to find/buy the related documentation? 2) One thing i' ve noticed during crosswind landings in FSX is ther poor wind siddefect compared to the DCS A-10 (or the BMS Falcon 4.32). I am not a real world pilot, but i have the impression that the plane is "driving on rails" in FSX rather than floating in the air , as in DCS. Is this my faulty impression, FSX limitation or am i missing something in the FSX option menu (have already tried extreme setiings in the weather menu)? Thanks in advance Makis
March 4, 201412 yr The 737 is a lighter plane than the DC10 and thus is more influenced by wind. The PMDG package is probably more realistic, thus the wind influence might be more realistic. The winglets version is more influenced by crosswinds than one without [note the handbook] If you fly Ryanair standards -don't forget to take some extra fuel with you ^_^ any thing that moves, moves me
March 5, 201412 yr Don't forget to feed and water your passengers either: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2564683/Ryanair-passengers-Stansted-Airport-forced-call-police-refused-food-water-right-leave-aircraft-11-HOUR-delay.html Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
March 5, 201412 yr Stay away from the Ariane product. It's way (waaaaaaaaaay) overpriced and in all extends the PMDG version is a better product. Regards, Frank van der Werff
March 5, 201412 yr Did he just say Ariane.... Rather go with PMDG or iFly! Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery
March 5, 201412 yr Author Did he just say Ariane.... Rather go with PMDG or iFly! You didn't understand what i was asking for. I have the pmdg ngx and i' m not interested on bying the Ariane product itself. However, i wan' t the ryanair specific documentation, that comes with Ariane's Ryanair Airlines Ops expansion pack (cost 15 euro' s) and includes : Ryanair Flight Operations Manual - Detailed and Comprehensive OPS Manual (does anybody know the exact revision?) Ryanair Load Sheet Ryanair Base OPS Landing Data Card Ryanair Navigation Log Ryanair Fuel Record Ryanair APP Data Ryanair FMC Trip Data Log Ryanair Crew Ops Trip Fuel Ryanair Crew Ops Time Reference / Fuel Required / Adjustments Ryanair Crew Ops Ground to Air Miles Conversion Ryanair Crew Ops Holding Planning Ryanair New Boeing 737 Checklists Card. That's the stuff i' m looking for.
