March 22, 201412 yr I want more realistic contrails for FSX, and I've found a few freeware and a few payware. It was hard to tell which ones looked good and which ones didn't, although I want the sky to look more realistic instead of having such short and thin contrails. Anyone have any advice?Thanks,Nathan3219 FSX: PMDG 744/MD11/JS41/736/737/738/739, CS752/753/763/C130, SimCheck A300, Leonardo MD82, MJC DH8D, Aerosoft CRJ7/CRJ9/A318/A319/A320/A321, RAZBAM Metroliner, ORBX Global, FlyTampa KBUF/OMDB/TNCM/VHHX, ActiveSky Next DCS: A-10C II/F-16C/AH-64D/F-15E/KA-50 III/Mi-24/Persian Gulf/Syria/F-15C XP11: FF 752/753, iniBuilds A306, HotStart TBM900 MSFS: Fenix A320, FS2Crew Fenix A320, FS2Crew Pushback Express, PMDG B77W, ActiveSky FS, Drzewiecki Design UUEE
March 22, 201412 yr I've read good things about ContrailsPro but never pulled the trigger. REX had some awhile ago but I don't think they're available anymore
March 22, 201412 yr I am using freeware called FlusiFix - I think there is difference, and u can set different size of contrail according to size of the plane. Apart of that this soft has a lot of other totally different options to change/set. Artur

March 22, 201412 yr Administrators I'm using a freeware program longer_contrails_fsx_fs9.zip. Works great on all aircraft! March 22, 201412 yr There's a contrail tool by Markus Brunner somewhere in the library. The effect that comes with it produces nice, long contrails. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
