July 13, 201411 yr Here you go, from the window of a C210. Bonus points if you can give me the names of the mountain range, valley and the town I'm over (not visible in the shot). Starting hint, western US. Note however, that this is like the show Who's Line is it Anyway, where "everything's made up and the points don't matter". Scott
July 14, 201411 yr Author Looks high and dry. Somewhere in NV? --------------------------- Blue Skies, Gottfried www.blueskyscenery.com
July 14, 201411 yr I am going to guess you are over Lebec, CA, Hungry Valley and those are the Tehachapi Mountains. Mitchell Haughee
July 14, 201411 yr Hmm. My response from a few hours ago to Gottfried didn't post for some reason. My apologies. Nope, not NV Gottfried and not CA either Mitchell. I'll narrow things down a bit more and tell you that it's somewhere in the Rockies chain. KMLD is a doggone good guess mrchsrider, as the topography is similar, but no again - though you're closer that anyone so far. A bit further east. Scott

Scott Hmm, further east... how about coming out of afton just east of bear lake
July 15, 201411 yr Nope. Further east. Another hint: I'm at the northern end of a range that extends through two states. Scott
