June 9, 201411 yr During takeoff with my 777-200LRF I hear no announcements about V1, V2 and Rotate, which I find very unfortunate, I have RAAS all checks are on, is there something I can do? Regards Jaap Mooyer

That would not be a RASS issue. Be sure that the takeoff calls are set to on in the simulation options under PMDG setup on the CDU. -Jacob
June 12, 201411 yr Author Hello Jacob, here my PMDG SETUP, i hope there is something wrong... Regards Jaap Mooyer
June 12, 201411 yr Looks good. Can you hear other callouts, the radio altitude callouts during landing, for example? How are your sound settings in the FSX options? What happened to AVSIM
June 12, 201411 yr Author Looks good. Can you hear other callouts, the radio altitude callouts during landing, for example? How are your sound settings in the FSX options? The landing Call Outs are okay. The FSX Sound Setting is good. Got the V speeds in the TAKEOFF page of the FMC set? A lot of FMC Settings Screenshots in the Topic before (under) Regards Jaap Mooyer
June 12, 201411 yr I'm slowly starting to run out of ideas! Do you take off in TOGA mode? That is, do you press the TOGA 'cheat' screw (left mouse click) when beginning your takeoff roll? A screenshot of your PFD might help. What happened to AVSIM
June 12, 201411 yr Author Oliver, first I move the joystick sliding forward, and then I click on the screw TOGA? Regards Jaap Mooyer
June 12, 201411 yr Technically, in FSX, you can left-click the screw with idle thrust. In real life you would move the thrust levers forward, let thrust stabilize at about 55% and apply takeoff thrust after that. To be absolutely sure your hardware lever doesn't interfere with the thrust set (for testing those callouts), move the lever forward all the way, leave it there, and left-click the screw. What happened to AVSIM
June 12, 201411 yr Screenshot needed. I have a feeling i know what you're doing wrong. I don't think you're activating the V speeds. James Bennett
June 12, 201411 yr Screenshot needed. I have a feeling i know what you're doing wrong. I don't think you're activating the V speeds. Looked good just yesterday: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/444103-no-announcements-about-v1-rotate-and-v2/?p=3007356 Still, the PFD screenie might help. EDIT: Could this issue be related to the fact(?) that you're trying to take off at a higher weight than MTOW (maximum takeoff weight)? Have you tried the lower fuel loads available in the CDU ("FS actions")? Edited June 12, 201411 yr by olli4740 What happened to AVSIM
June 12, 201411 yr Author Gents, after downloading KLM 777-200LR/F from PMDG Operation Centre, Livery Download, i've made a perfect short flight: EHBK 04 (03) - EDLN ILS 13 108.95. This time i've made a take off with only pushing on TOGA screw. The takeoff was good, but without V1, Vr and V2 Call Outs, during landing you can hear callouts :( Regards Jaap Mooyer

June 12, 201411 yr It might seem far too obvious, but Jaap, what I think James and I think you may have forgotten to do is right-click on your V1, Vr, and V2 speeds so that it gets input in bold onto the right-hand side LDKs, and if done correctly, should show on the speed tape. For all I know, you may have done this, so discard this if you have indeed done so. Only a suggestion trying to resolve your problem. Rick Almeida

Thank you very much Rick and James, I must confess that I have with the left mouse boarded, sorry for the trouble I caused when it is going to work, I'm going to try :Pig: Regards Jaap Mooyer
