June 19, 201411 yr After having spent more time in the CS757 (both 2D and VC) I have to say that it is just not my cup of tea. It's just not the kind of add-on that I care to deal with. That said, I decided to go back and have another look at the QW 757, which has been dormant on my HD for a very long time. After taking it out and allowing it to stretch it's legs, I have to say I am much more impressed with it. Not sure why I parked it in the first place (was quite a while ago), but I am going to delve a little more deeply into this plane and see what it has to offer. Regards, Joe Esposito

Make sure you get the latest version of the QW757 if you like the version you have now... June 19, 201411 yr Dillon, I sent you a PM. Did you get it? Thanks Yes, haven't had a chance to go over everything you asked. After having spent more time in the CS757 (both 2D and VC) I have to say that it is just not my cup of tea. It's just not the kind of add-on that I care to deal with. When you said you were a 2D guy I figured this wasn't the add-on for you. QW has a version that's only a visual model that will work great with the LDS767 panel. June 19, 201411 yr Got the latest version of the QW 757 and I have to say, so far I'm quite impressed. Visuals are good, seems very stable, and has no framerate impact. The aircraft is very nice to hand fly and the modeled systems do what they are supposed to, when they are supposed to. I realize the systems depth is not that of the iFly 737, however I think I have found an FS9 757 that I can live with. Just my two and a half cents. Regards, Joe Esposito
June 20, 201411 yr Author My feedback aftter 2 flights: 1. No bug or crash. 2. Smooth experience and good AP behaviour. 3. VNAV workink OK, especially descent (early descent works and waypoint constraint as well). A few things that bug me: 1) No way to see the Vref bugs from the VC. Anyone found a workaround? 2) Can't load via Topcat: FS crash during operation. 3) active camera views: anyone with good settings? Thanks Ghiom

I hate the unrealistic side windows in the VC but to each his own. Outside of that the QW757 is a nice product for a 'lite' add-on... Captain Sim Great, glad I could help you find a decent 757... FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
June 27, 201411 yr Author After a few test flights, I decided that I would not continue flying this addon. It's good, almost very good, but a few lingering bugs or imperfections makes it still over par compared to the Level-d which offers the same cockpit and systems. Among the most annoying: the fact that when you disconnect the AP during final approach, the throttles spool up to max... the overshooting HDG and LNAV turns the lack of Vspeed reference in the VC Unless someone comes up with resolutions. Thanks Ghiom

June 27, 201411 yr Author Interesting Could you post your autopilot config section, please and tell how you disconnect the AP upon approach? Thanks
June 27, 201411 yr When I tried it overshooting the headings was just the way it functioned. Regards, Joe Esposito
July 1, 201411 yr Hi Ghiom, Dillon and Joe, do you fly the CS 757 under Win7 without problems in all aspects? In the product description I read "WinXP only". I'm searching an new everyday plane after I got unexpected problems with the DF 727 under Win7 and want to avoid a new disappointment.
