June 17, 201411 yr I managed to get it out of demo mode (not sure what happened that changed it) but it required multiple installs and then it was correct. The installer added an old version of FSUIPC which rendered my flight controls useless. Got that sorted and now am trying to figure out the speed control knob. Attempting to change the speed causes it to spin out of control. Same for the landing altitude knob on the overhead. Also discovered that apparently CS uses a different programming logic for the AP disconnect. Using the key I have programmed (thru FS9) the AP disconnects but the AP light stays lit and there is no alert that the AP has disconnected. Pressing the AP disconnect bar puts out the light and sounds the alert. Just seems like a lot of stuff to have to sort thru. Sorry, but I just don't see that this plane is even remotely close to the iFly 737. 1. Don't use the speed knob but rather put the mouse over the numbers themselves to change and adjust the setting. This is no different than how it's done on a number of other add-ons. 2. Disconnect the AP on the yoke itself. Use the throttle handle to disconnect the auto-throttle. 3. What got me was tuning the ILS. Use the setting on the center panel between the seats to tune the ILS. June 17, 201411 yr You are lucky you got it working. Cause my password/activation code does not work anymore.

That's slightly more controlled but still far from how the others that use that system work. Have not tried the AP button on the yoke. Will try that. Regards, Joe Esposito
June 17, 201411 yr LevelD and merge it with the plane of your choice. Argue away...... That's not going to work with the CS757 or the QW version. Actually Level-D is behind the curve from the CS757 in which it has no weather radar and more systems are modeled in the CS version versus the LDS option (VC cockpit that is). Examples is visually the two models aren't the same (3D switches on the over head for example). The 757/767 is really not that complicated to operate if you compare dealing with a 727 three person cockpit or the MD11. Just the same more things are realized in the CS757 like the ability to turn off the AP from the yoke and throttle quadrant. VC lighting is improved over the LDS version although a bit too bright at night but acceptable to me. There are a host of other real features that I like but can't call off the top of my head as I'm not at my home computer. Don't get me wrong the LDS is great and the flight model is second to none but it's age compared to the CS757 really shows and you can't just merge it with anything out there... June 17, 201411 yr I merged QW 757 with LevelD , and it works very well. So you put features of the QW757 in the LVD 767? May I ask why??? Or is it the other way around and if so what exactly did you merge (I would be interested in VC features)? June 17, 201411 yr This is the merge I used http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=178991 You get the exterior QW model with the panel/FMC of the Level-D The reason I tried it was I was not using the QW757 because the QW panel does not support FSUIPC mouse-macros, and I was unable to assign any of the QW MCP controls like heading or altitude dials to my Yoke/throttle quadrant buttons Peter Schluter

June 18, 201411 yr Joe, What has been your experience so far? Thanks Ghiom Have not had a chance to do anything with it today. Unlike yourself and Les, I am a 2d panel guy. Will report back as soon as I can spend some time with it. Regards, Joe Esposito

Now I understand your issues. If your using the 2D panel I have no experience there. I always assume people are using VC's these days. The CS757 is a blast using the VC 100% of the flight... June 18, 201411 yr Actually I could care less about 3D switches as the software is being used in a physical simulator. Furthermore, the logic, which is what we are after, mirrors what I see in the simulators (ATL) which I have been in many times. If your into pretty, then maybe CS is a better choice. If you are into realism, LevelD still moves the needle.

If you are into realism, LevelD still moves the needle. You can have both with the CS757... The CS757 actually has more to offer avionics wise than the aged LDS767. It built on the foundation that LDS laid out. It's very old logic to think just because the VC is nice that must mean it's lacking in other areas.
