October 26, 201411 yr Hello BASYS To answer your first question my XP is 10,508. l69. When the others do not yet have the new version of Stonelance released, ie you mentioned 1.0.24.5 I am awaiting the release,
October 26, 201411 yr I wasn't aware that there were performance problems with 1.0.23.5. What is the cause? im using 1.0.23.5 and haven't experienced any performance problems.
October 26, 201411 yr I wasn't aware that there were performance problems with 1.0.23.5. What is the cause? I haven't been getting any problems, but for some, the splash screen seems to hang when the application has been launched. I believe that it's normal, therefore, there is no real cause but the computer itself. Kavinda J.D ^_^
October 26, 201411 yr Author Hi Folks Steve - It's wasn't a performance issue in-game, just that Flight's splash-screen appeared to display for longer. The delay was sometimes > 30 secs, sometimes as if hung. elykay - 10,508,169 XP should be Level 36. What level is currently being displayed ? What are the answers to my other previous questions please. HTHATBPaul ODG Preview

October 26, 201411 yr Hi Folks Steve - My apologies, Flight hanging was with a previous FTK version in which you'd enabled mega-logging. HTH ATB Paul that's right. i think i had that problem with the 1.0.18 version and the moment i switched to the 1.0.20.5 FTK everything was fine.

October 26, 201411 yr Hello Paul (Basys) Installed new version 1.0.25.5 and released flight pilot profile XP 10,508,169 I did some flight and XP passed to 10,526,339 but your solution was not in Pilot profile getting in 20 and not changed to 36 as proposed his amendment in Pilot profile. I replied to you all your questions in another post. What would be the solution to fix this problem will there be? Or this fact just this occurring to me. Grateful for a response.
October 27, 201411 yr Author Hi Folks elykay - Ensure Flight is not running. In FTK Addon Manager, completely uninstall the CareerTrackDefinitions upgrade. Right-click, and select Delete. Then close the FTK Addon Manager. Now using the original zip from AVSim, reinstall the CareerTrackDefinitions upgrade. Launch Flight, and check your Pilot Profile - Career. ? What XP and Level does it now report ? HTHATBPaul ODG Preview
October 27, 201411 yr Hi Paul As your instructions did the procedure indicated, but no satisfactory result, has not run its update routine Pilot profile, remaining the original 20 and XP 10,581,472 I'm using version 1.0.25.5 and the same this updating all the accomplishments and usually saved in the Pilot profile. Thank you for your attention, Elisha (ElyKay)
October 27, 201411 yr Author Hi Folks elykay - If you are still seeing Level 20 for 10 million XPthen the CareerTrackDefinitions upgrade addonhas not been installed properly. Caused by either -- An action/inaction by yourself, (probably UAC related),- A possible issue with FTK Addon Manager. Action 1 - Unblock Zip file -When you downloaded the CareerTrackDefinitions upgrade from Avsim, before extracting the zipdid you first Unblock the zip file ? i.e.Did you -- Right-click on the zip- Click Properties On the General tab, at the bottom it says -Security: This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer. Did you -- Click the button labelled Unblock - Click the button labelled OK If the original Zip is still blocked, then - - Unblock it, as per above instructions. - Repeat all those actions in my last post. ? Did that fix the Level 20 issue ? Action 2 - Other Addons - If the Level 20 issue still persists - For any aircraft type which you've already installed and is already working in Flight. See - Avsim - Downloads - Flight Repaints section Find a repaint addon which you haven't already installed. Download and install it. ? Does that addon repaint display in Flight's in-game Hangar ? Previous replies -Guessing my posts & your reply lost something in translation. :smile2: has not run its update routine Pilot profile ? What did you mean ? To clarify - The CareerTrackDefinitions upgradehas nothing whatsoever to do with saving of, or updating routines for accomplishments or XP. The version of FTK is only relevant to updating Steve's profile.xml file. The version of FTK has zero relevance to the CareerTrackDefinitions upgrade. Flight only reads the CareerTrackDefinitions file. The CareerTrackDefinitions file itself, performs zero executions/actions/changes. The CareerTrackDefinitions file contains 2 columns of numbers. Those 2 columns contain valuepairs for XP and Level. Flight reads Steve's profile.xml.Flight then formats that profile data for display on the in-game Pilot Profile - Career tab. As part of that formatting process,Flight reads those valuepairs from the CareerTrackDefinitions.spb file. Flight then takes your earned XP score, looks down the 1st column of valuepairs until it finds the first XP value which is greater than your earned XP score. Flight then displays that XP value, as Next Level in WHATEVER XP Flight then reads off the previous row of valuepairs for XP and Level.Flight then displays that Level value as your current Career Level. Hope that's all clear now. :smile2: HTHATBPaul ODG Preview
October 28, 201411 yr Hi Paul Follow instruction of your last post. I've unblocked downloaded Zip file didn't work any effect that is not performing its update, install normally through the Stonelance Kit, ask does this Kit does not reading your update? as you mentioned.I have no repainting installed I think has nothing to do with this procedure. Do you think I should ask Stonelance if he can help us find what may be occurring. Because before I was functioning normally. Grateful for your attention and waiting for a light to resolve this problem, since its inception, very good, wish I could use it. Greetings Elisha (Elykay)
October 28, 201411 yr Paul - Re-installing and unblocking the add-on simply won't work because: The issue is not global and is only affecting two users (that we know of) Thus, the problem lies within the affected users machine/ profile Elykay - You mentioned that you never backed up your profile right? This may be the cause of your problem. Servers are down so there is no way of getting your profile data back without a little modification. I think that Paul's upgrade worked since Flight could still access your profile data and therefore, allowed you to proceed with your career. Unfortunately, the only way to get you back and flying in Flight will involve some data loss. However, you will still be at Level 36 with the right amount of XP! ^_^ To get your profile up and running. I need you to report back after you have followed these instructions: Go to this Xbox API site and click Sign Up . Change the Subscription plan to Free and continue with the registration Authorize your account Sign in to the account you just made You should now get a screen showing you some "User Information" Near the bottom, you should see a button marked "Sign in to Xbox LIVE." Go ahead and click this and Log In with your Microsoft account credentials for the Gamertag you play with on MS Flight. After you have signed, look at the "User Information" tab again. There should be some numbers next to the "XBOX Profile User ID" field. Post this number on this forum so I can get your profile set up. If you have any problems, please do ask! EDIT: Please also give me your GamerTag which you used with MS Flight. If you do not know this, Log into Xbox.com and it will show on the top right of your screen. Also, can you see your Stats on your Pilot Profile screen? Or is everything set to 0? Kavinda J.D ^_^
