It looks much better in-game or on videos but here's a few shots!

There was a hint 'in the air', that something really great is coming for the water treatment in P3D...Tim Fush sort of alluded to that....so crossing fingers that it will get a little more wave action and some of the white-cap/sparkle that you see in FSX with DX10 Fixer and Rex4 Direct.  As it stands now, the best water I have seen, still lays with FSX/DX10...for animation and effects.

is that the default p3d v 2.3 water?

Those are already there ... light and altitude seem to make them come alive.

Why does my water look stationary?...even on Ultra.  It doesn't look like it moves at all.

With latest REX 4 Direct water textures, Rob? I use SPARKLE, but don't see it much in play, as you do with DX10 Fixer and FSX.

Tessellation enabled?

Tessellation enabled?

It was off so I set it to high but didn't see any difference.   What does tesselation do?

It's like an animated mesh , ie the waves.

Also waves are wind dependent. Set the sfc wind to 24 kts and you'll see the waves

I'll probably post something over at LM.  Not sure if my water issue is the same as all the other folks that are posting about water quality.  It looks pretty awful.
