Aerosoft Airbus vs. Rookie

Two A/Ps engaged instead of one increases the safety margin - in real life (only), as the other A/P could take over in case the first one fails. Without failures modeled it has little (to none) effect in this Airbus simulation. (You weren't better off in the PSS, feelThere or Wilco Evolution upgrade buses, either.)

Interesting, I thought it is mandatory becuae in every single tutorial, PDF or YouTube, AP2 must be on. I guess they all are trying to mimic real life to the max. :)

Just to add, this is the third day learning AXE, and in is already my fav tubeliner of all time! I love it! It's really not hard to love it after endless hours with Project Airbus A320. Now, I can't wait for Aerosoft's A330/340!

Pe11w,,

Are you using the AXE or the A320/A321?  They're both by Aerosoft, but very different.  I'm asking as some of the questions you may ask will have different answers based on which aircraft you're using.

I didn't care for the AXE at all, but I really like the A320, especially in Connected Flight Deck.

Yes, I'm using the newest A318/320 package, bought it as an AXE user with a discount. I was writing AXE all the time because that name is still in my head, bad habit.

Generally it is a far better product than AXE, which is buggy as hell. It's only a shame that new A318/319/320/321 is a bit hard on frames on my machine, on par with the NGX with the highest settings (cockpit, textures and displays on high, and CP displays on).

Will be the A330 only. No A340 by Aerosoft.

Just checked it again, yes only A330, my fault.
