I know I'd certainly be happy with just removing the effect entirely.

Same here. Not in need of it and to lose it completely wouldn't be a problem while, sometimes, the "blinding" actually is.

Big thanks to Steve for the new 2.5 options re: sun effects. That was fast.

Nice.

Any reports of how the gtx 780 behaves with this driver?

Im still using 320.18 as it seems to have worked the best

I have the GTX 780 from PNY. there have been at least two newer drivers...both work fine with the 780. Go to nvidia.com and take a look. If you do not like the results, you can always roll back...but, I think you will like what you find. Nvidia seems to have really gotten things right with their more recent drivers.

i just got the fixer. I was loving the simple sun mod and flare in dx9. I went to dx10 the flare is still there but I am seeing the same thing. Totally washes out the screen when looking directly at the sun. Does the fixer fix it?

Does the fixer fix it?

Indeed it does. Find it under the "Other" tab. B)

Yep it fixed it. But now my simple sun flare is gone. I don't know. I might just go back to dx9. Everything was running so nicely
