November 16, 201411 yr I don't post here like I used to anymore so I guess I just share some screenies from DCS I made. They're edited, in one way or another, just so you know. But nothing major ^_^ Cheers, George.
November 16, 201411 yr It's a pity you don't post here more often because those shots are great! Regards, Hugo Bravo LPPT
November 16, 201411 yr Yep! Simply AMAZING! Thx George Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
November 17, 201411 yr Author DCS World is AWESOME!!! And the best thing... IT'S FREE!!! When the L-39 comes out, I'll probably won't leave my room for another month Thanks everyone! Cheers, George.
November 17, 201411 yr The first two flanker pics are awesome. DCS is free ? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
November 17, 201411 yr DCS World has a free2play version, which includes the whole default scenery already available, and two playable aircraft, one a simple FM ( the Su25t ) and the Tf51d with a detailed flight dynamics model. DCS's flight dynamics and overall physics and systems modeling are unique! Give it a try iron ;-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Can I fly around like in X plane ? or is it something like Open Falcon. Luckily they have a torrent file on their website . cool . Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

It's just not clickable and has some systems simplified. TF-51D is full featured clickfest, basically payware P-51D without the guns  And you don't have to fly missions and shoot stuff, you can just create an empty mission and fly around. Cheers, George.
November 17, 201411 yr Su-25 too has advanced flight model! you're right! sorry :-/ - I meant to write non-clickable and wrote simple FM... And yes, that's how I use DSC World - only for flying around, enjoying the great flyght dynamics and systems modelling :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
November 17, 201411 yr Downloading, it will take almost 15-19 hours on my Net. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
November 17, 201411 yr I stronly believe you wont regret... Only problem for most simmers is the outdated scenery area, also limited compared to the full World coverage of MSFS and X-Plane I only use DCS for flying. Bought all of the modules less "Combined Arms", but gave them away recently, staying only with the p51d. It'll take a bit of work to configure your controllers - not a simplified task in DCS. Having rudder is almost mandatory too, specially when flying the P51d. If you come from FSX, DCS is simply so superior in modeling such an aircraft that any comparisons are useless, IMO...
