HD Mesh Scenery v3 for X-Plane 10 released

Recommended Posts

What dataref is it? You can probably set it permanently using FlyWithLua

No, I am using the Dataref plugin, and then goto Art Controls / Beaches/Kill Beaches = 1.00000

I don't know how to use Flywithlua

 But I need to reload the area

Yep, exclusions are the better solution, and they'll be in World2XPlane 0.7.0. Also, don't think we'll see any new photoscenery from Simheaven since he's pulled the downloads unfortunately, so you'll need to redo your photoscenery yourself using G2XPL to use HD Mesh v3

@Tony

   I don't use Photo Scenery anymore after V3.  And even If I need to get the Photo Scenery than that will take ages to generate and by that time Xp11 or V4 / v5 or W2XP 11 would be out :) so the cycle continues

You mean W2XP has an exclusion function for beaches ?

I am just loving V3, don't fly much in the City areas or just  take an airfield near a big Town with heavy traffic , love the way mountains look making  nice low and fast flights

 Going full with Canada / Alaska.  Europe almost done except SSE areas and Norway / Sweden.

 Three good sports aircrafts I am using

CH650

Remos GX

SportsCruiser

 All free.

No beachy

It does yep. I don't like the beaches from X-Plane so I just exclude them all. It looks bad with photoscenery and causes very weird artifacts on small islands.

@tony

Then why am i seeing the beaches with W2xp ?  W2XP tranforms so well with V3.

France looks so good in V3. Had never ever tried a flight there before.

Just a guess, but I think he may be alluding to the fact that mountains of that height should have snow on them all year round...

Think the guess is right.

Have snow over them hmmmm that's possible only when LR wants to.
