I'm new to XPlane and I have a doubt: is it possible to use world2xplane scenery generator together with hd mesh v3?

Yes you can use HD mesh V3 along with W2XP.

 

 W2XP is for objects like buildings / power lines etc..... other worldly objects.

Are there any side by side before and after shots? I want to be able to compare. 

I was looking at and around KVNY (Van Nuys California) and did not see anything different that stood out.

Just did a flight from Shoreham heading into London and back to Shoreham.

 

England looks improved with V3 and  I am using custom buildings hence just 11 fps in London city

Nope. Most people I know have two, even three weeks off. Not me :-).

 

Christmas tends to be quiet anyway, so it's not all bad.

 

Shoreham, that's one area I miss from ORBX, they did a good job there.

 You need to head up north and then a lot of greenery else Shoreham is deserted in XPX.

 

 Canada looks the most improved.

 

Toronto with V3 and W2XP is a mess with tress on the buildings.

 

 BTW i landed at the wrong airport. Thought it was Shoreham but landed at Gatwick. Hey even real pilots make those mistakes
