January 7, 201511 yr It seems these BGLs ruin so many of my airports, and turning them off corrects every airports elevation and bleed through issue. Is there a downside to turning them all off or deleting them? Or is there a way to solve this issue for good? Nick Mathews CFI
January 8, 201511 yr I have my MyTrafficX scenery located just above Propeller Objects in the Scenery Library. They are there for your AI aircraft to be able to takeoff and land based on the flight plan. Commercial scenery located above the MyTrafficX scenery trump out MyTrafficX. January 9, 201511 yr Try running the Airport Elevation Correcter (AEC) in the Vector configurator utility. BTW, I was under the impression that ORBX recommends a 3rd party mesh like FS Global 2010 if one has Vector installed.
January 9, 201511 yr Author I've tried jabloomf. That usually just makes it worse. Are the BGLs supposed to be working with 3rd party mesh? MTX doesn't say anything about that in the manual. Nick Mathews CFI
January 10, 201511 yr I've found MyTraffic BGLs cause elevation problems at many add-on airports (payware or freeware like the Orbx packages), regardless of library location. As I run into them, I just rename the MyTraffic filename extensions to ".passive" as opposed to ."bgl." Inconvenient but a minor issue compared to other FSX headaches Hans Soule
