S550 with ISG FMS

Featured Replies

Change the weather to rainy or move the plane to somewhere it's raining. Push the WX button.  If it's not raining you won't see anything. And also keep in mind that nothing's free, drawing the radar screen will eat up resources.

Jay,

If you follow the instructions included with Janek's Mods it is explained. If there is a clickspot/hotspot problem he has included alternate files to fix it.

Yes I did fly into some rain yesterday and it works just as you say on my system.

Thank you

JanekBin,

May I please impose upon you to send your marvelous mod for the S550?

Thanks,

Tom

I'm currently working on a dark cockpit for a better ISG integration. I can't put up with the blue plastic items like kids toys and these blue leather seats any longer. I'm trying to make a black FMS with white backlighting for the night environment also. WIP...

Hi guys,
I'll pack the ISG gauges' background tomorrow but i'm not sure i'm allowed to share dds files for the cockpit because i've modify files owned by Carenado. Do you have any information about dds files copyright from Carenado?

ps: sorry for my poor english :P

..bearing in mind that Carenado TOTALLY SCREWED their own product (ANOTHER ONE), without apologies to their customers and without effort to repair/finalize it, I would not even raise such a question.....:-))))))

Really! Carenado should be paying these enthusiasts for completing their airplane and making it an attractive addon. If only one person purchases the Citation because of these mods it is they who benefit (unfortunately.)

blahhhblahhh, it's your call though.

here are the ISG gauge background files ->  http://dl.free.fr/kObJ6GMqn

source photoshop files : http://dl.free.fr/hCvuvcKyI (free for all if you need to modify them)

So you will need FS PanelStudio for SFX :

Gauge > Gauges Editor / open your isg1.gau files (make a backup before...)

and change the background for the following gauges :

- EFS50_EHSI_CNTR

- GNSXLS

- LNAV (change the both pictures for both states: active and inactive)

- VNAV (same)

Here is the panel.cfg (thanks to JanekBln) :

enjoy

Beautiful work but not usable by non-software developers like me who just like to fly. Needs to be packaged as JanekBin has done for general use.

I can not just download the files ! :(

Can you explain how the download links work, they open to a French language page but the ISG_S550.zip file is greyed out. This is the same with all of the links supplied, I tried to translate with Google but nothing seems to refer to the files.

There's a box with a red outline: "Valider et telecharger le fichier"

It doesn't change the cursor or anything if you hover over it, I suppose there's just some javascript under it. But click it and it will prompt you for the download.
