Hi G

Hello!!

i have an Asus Rog Swift 27" 2 K, but i am going to buy the Philips BDM4065UC 40" and running it at 4K but at 30 Hz vsync and triple buffering on fps unlimited. Have you tryed it at 30 Hz??

Any complain? How is the image quality? and tearing?

Thanks a lot Gianluca

Hi Gianluca

Hi Erich!

And are you running it at 30Hz or 60Hz? And Is it smooth?

Hi Erich!

Am running at 60Hz and it's smooth with moderate settings

I can not use 30hz monitors at all, they have an huge eye strain.  60hz or higher is what you need.

Disagree with you ... I have zero eye strain at 30Hz ... looks the same at 30Hz as 60Hz on my Sony 4K ... I've posted several videos on the perceptions around 30Hz and 60Hz.  If your monitor is causing eye strain at 30Hz, then it's a limitation of your monitor not that you "need" 60Hz.

30Hz motion test

30Hz

60Hz

Changing NCP from 30 to 60Hz

Cheers, Rob.
