February 28, 201511 yr Hi Andrew, that looks great. And I'm happy to say, that LINDA works in P3DV2.5 like a charme, With kind regardsRoland PohlVice chairman FSC e.V.
March 1, 201511 yr Hey Andrew, Echoing Roland, I think you hit the mark. -controller descriptions carried over from earlier version -controller descriptions carry over between sessions -no crash on exit -earlier issue of not connecting to MCP II is gone -report per aircraft per controller is excellent, particularly for those of us who track these things All I can think of is to have LINDA actually minimize to tray more than once during a session!! OK...that's probably about as important as the price of dodo eggs. The option to close to the tray would prevent accidentally closing the program. I say option as it would not be of value to all. If it's a pain to implement, perish it. Finally, and this will strike a nerve; support for WideFS button screen would be Nirvana. Please delete this if it will cause a stir. Thanks for all you do. Regards, Graham Derreck CYMM

March 1, 201511 yr Hi Andrew, found it on Setup Joystick and it does what it has to do, except it does't for FSX default. With kind regardsRoland PohlVice chairman FSC e.V.
March 1, 201511 yr Author Hi Roland It should and I have just rechecked that it does. With '* FSX Default' selected as the aircraft it will place the file in \fsx\modules\linda\aircrafts\FSX Default folder. The same applies to the MCP txt file - the button for which is on the Setup MCP Combo page - if you have one of these panels. March 1, 201511 yr I apologize Andrew, I copied my FSUIPC4.ini from FSX to P3D, everything worked fine but he startet LINDA out of the Module. Just edited FSUIPC4.ini and everything works perfect again. With kind regardsRoland PohlVice chairman FSC e.V.
March 2, 201511 yr Hi, found a little bug regarding Hide Window Titles. ALT CRTL SHIFT F3 saves the postition of the 2D Panels but not removes the WIndow Titles. Same Function as F1 With kind regardsRoland PohlVice chairman FSC e.V.
March 2, 201511 yr Just tried it out. Unfortunately, something doesn't like my PC. First it takes almost a full minute to load...white screen with small border and "not responding" message. Then it works as normal for a few minutes untill my screen turns black with slight hissing noise in background. PC then reboots. Happened four times. Went back to Beta 9 (Beta 10 also slow to load) and now have been in flight for 30 minutes without problem. Of course, the trouble could very well be caused by something else. LINDA has ALWAYS worked perfectly for me. Will report back if I have any new info Neal H Neal Howard
March 2, 201511 yr Author Hi Neal A couple of people reporting the slow load (including Günter - his problem went away). I think it is possibly caused having many devices attached. Can I ask you to unplug a few USBs and work with a single joystick? Also can you try starting beta 11 several times to see if it sorts itself out. Also try removing/renaming \modules\linda-cfg\config-hid.lua. However, I have not had the screen turning black. Is that the whole display? In order to get the Dynamic device connection/reconnection I have had to do some major re-engineering behind the scenes. LINDA 2.6.0 is no longer 1.13 or 2.5. March 2, 201511 yr I have A saitek Cessna yoke with a second throttle quadrant plus Saitek pedals. That's it...Sold my MCP Combo and now use LINDA for joystick/throttle buttons (like it better than I did with the Combo). .I do have three External USB drives. They are plugged in but not used with FSX. I will unplug them and try beta 11 again. The Beta 10 was slow loading but nothing like Beta 11. When the display went black it was the entire screen and then the PC rebooted without me doing a thing. I still feel that something is wrong here that is not related to Linda. I did just complete a flight of about 90 minutes without trouble though. Probably be tomorrow before I can report back. Regards Neal Neal Howard
March 2, 201511 yr Author Hi Neal I have sent you a PM. What Windows version are you using? I have only tested under Win 7. Andrew Gransden Scotland, UK LINDA Support/Developer - VATSIM and BAVirtual - Airbus Flyer i7 1TB SSD GTX980 - FSX/P3D - Aerosoft Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 - FS2Crew
March 3, 201511 yr Hi Andrew, same here when starting Linda under Win8.1. (except the Black screen) No Problems under Win 7 SP1 With kind regardsRoland PohlVice chairman FSC e.V.
March 4, 201511 yr Author Hi Roland Just to confirm that you can report that LINDA 2.6.0 beta is slow to start with Win 8.1 but not with Win 7. My understanding is that LINDA is displaying 'not responding' for 60-90 seconds before opening normally. ALL OTHER USERS - please report any similar problems. Due to my proper work I will need to issue 2.6.0 this week with this caveat. March 4, 201511 yr Hi Andrew, I just tested it with Win 8.1 and it takes about 25 sec to start, no "not responding" message when you don't click around on the screen. Done some assignments and everythings works normal. With kind regardsRoland PohlVice chairman FSC e.V.
