March 7, 201511 yr I tried several times to start a thread but kept getting "Service Unavailable" messages. Later found that each time the post was actual put on the forum. Any way for an author to delete the duplicates? Dohhhh Neal H   Neal Howard
March 8, 201511 yr Simple... Don't create duplicates. How? Post your message. At the top of the forum screen you should see a green horizontal notification that your post is being posted. When that disappears and you DO NOT see your message posted at all, do a CTRL-F5 (refresh your browser). If it shows a lack of service response, do another ctrl-F5 and continue to do so. You see, once that green bar disappears, your message has been posted. Had you done a CTRL-F5, you would have seen your post made.

Hi Tom, Sometimes when you press post it comes to a service unavailable page. It does this very frequently with me and the trick is to not press the back or refresh buttons, but rather type in the forum address. This has been happening very frequently lately and never used to do this. Cheers, Chris Brand
March 8, 201511 yr Moderator To answer your actual question, you cannot remove a duplicated post. Let us know about such though by clicking on the "Report" button and dropping us a note... ...so one of us moderators will see the "Alert" and take care of the duplicates. Fr.
