April 26, 201610 yr Ok, I figured it out. Quite simple really. Its the HDR that messes everything up. Tried with alot of different settings but nothing influenced PAPI light size except HDR OFF. This occurs on all of my addon airports (except flytampa) including default. Now, how to get LM to fix it... That may just entail finding out what code is controlled my HDR and leaving it out of the mix, unless of course all lights are affected by HDR settings, in which case would kind of suck for people who like using HDR lighting. It is a big feature in P3D and comes in handy, at least for me. -Jim Engage, research, inform and make your posts count! -Jim Morvay Origin EON-17SLX - Under the hood: Intel Core i7 7700K at 4.2GHz (Base) 4.6GHz (overclock), nVidia GeForce GTX-1080 Pascal w/8gb vram, 32gb (2x16) Crucial 2400mhz RAM, 3840 x 2160 17.3" IPS w/G-SYNC, Samsung 950 EVO 256GB PCIe m.2 SSD (Primary), Samsung 850 EVO 500gb M.2 (Sim Drive), MS Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit

April 26, 201610 yr Commercial Member I don't see this issue with Prepar3D v3.2 and scaled lighting without addon textures. I get perfectly scaled lights at all distances, even with HDR on. But then, I'm using everything default (textures, etc) and only changing the scaling entries in the .cfg file. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
April 27, 201610 yr Author Strange, but again, I suspect REX has messed something up here. Here's a link to the thread I started at LM forums: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=118259&p=133679#p133679 Brynjar Mauseth

April 29, 201610 yr I think HDR does effect lighting, that is what its main effect is, best example is to notice the sun when turning HDR off and on. With HDR off the sun and its glare is more "real". with HDR on it is just a small pinprick of light.
