Nick (CavalierDuck) is currently planning the next Scotland leg and should have a post up later this week.  Look for a post that starts with "Scotland 2" which will have details about the route this Saturday.  First thing you should do is get your Teamspeak setup for voice communication.  Take a look at the invitation post which will give you links for the freeware client.

Teamspeak is a standalone app.. does not care about FSX or P3D..

Thanks for that Bert. Then why the pre-requisite in that link posted above #20  that it will require FSX? I hope it works with P3D. I'm so much looking forward to this.

Teamspeak will work for voice communication for any sim as it is completely separate application.  The problem between MS-FSX, FSX-SE, and P3D is that they each have a different version of simconnect and the multiplayer functionallity is incompatible between them.  Ron Attwood provides an MS-FSX multiplayer server that we connect to for the Saturday sessions, BUT you have to run MS-FSX to connect to the multiplayer session.  You cannot connect to an MS-FSX multiplayer session using P3D or FSX-SE.   If you have MS-FSX you will be able to connect to the multiplayer session.

 

The other multiplayer option is FSHost which will support all three sims but it does have some issues too.
