May 30, 201511 yr Don't know what your referring here do explain Morten Steen is correct in his post. In the post Wirbeistrum made on PPrune those words preceded his post of the performance data. So it's kind of useless to ask him more questions or for more information. Michael Cubine

May 30, 201511 yr Cheers michael.Vernon The video posted by Atlas Shrugged on page 2 of the post on PPrune is very good. Kind of long at 2hrs. and 45 minutes but it is worth watching. The time will not be wasted. If you haven't looked at it, you might consider doing it even though it's a 744. A lot of the stuff is transferrable to the NGX. It's just interesting. Michael Cubine
May 30, 201511 yr Author One thing i noticed on that is there in VNAV without being on the FMC track? Vernon Howells
May 30, 201511 yr One thing i noticed on that is there in VNAV without being on the FMC track? Boeing logic let's you do that, Airbus logic doesn't. If climb rate isn't affected then it's not a problem. I'd forgotten how procedural ITVV videos are (or were, as they don't seem to make new ones). It's almost a training video.
May 30, 201511 yr Author Cheers kevin! Yeh how good are they? I have a few just planes on my ipad and there nothing compared to ITVV. Really lengthy and meaty Vernon Howells
May 31, 201511 yr One thing i noticed on that is there in VNAV without being on the FMC track?Vernon There are a lot of odd things in that video. But don't equate odd with wrong. It's just different than what we are use to. I need to look at certain parts again just to make certain I saw what I thought I saw. That video is 15 years old. GOLDEN GATE 4 is now GOLDEN GATE 6. Noticed that video and thought they violated copy righted material, thought you couldn't upload videos of that nature , just checked and the videos were taken down I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
May 31, 201511 yr Author You can find it on youtube! The reason i ask this again is because i seen the same thing on a 737 NG having VNAV engaged and off the track. Vernon Howells

It's no longer on PPrune and I did a search of YouTube with no results. You can find it on youtube! The reason i ask this again is because i seen the same thing on a 737 NG having VNAV engaged and off the track. That could happen if the NG has switched from LNAV to HDG SELECT to deviate around thunderstorm cells or they got a command from ATC to fly a certain headings for separation from other traffic or they could be in the vector part of a SID or whatever.
