May 31, 201511 yr HIGHMEMFIX=1 does not appear to be in my FSX: SE cfg file. I have the cfg open here in front of me, and no where can I see this tweak. Should I add it into the cfg file, or was it integrated into some other piece of code by Dovetail?
May 31, 201511 yr I believe DTG have tweaked the system to include this fix automatically so you will not see it in you CFG file , therefore the manual addition that we use to add in FSX is no longer needed in FSX SE. All the best Mark
May 31, 201511 yr The Steam Edition has been recompiled with the large address aware flag already set so this line is not needed in the cfg file. May 31, 201511 yr Moderator Er, Tom. FSX already had the large address aware flag set. HIGHMEMFIX is a separate issue entirely. However, DTG did rework the code of FSX:SE to incorporate that as a fixed value, hence the tweak is no longer required. Adding it will do nothing at all, trying to set it "off" is equally useless. :He He: Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
May 31, 201511 yr Sorry, but i want to ask you if you have the Affinitymask fix on your FSX.cfg. I don't see it, and its supposed to be there since last update. Cheers N.-
May 31, 201511 yr Commercial Member The jobsheduler section has no effect on FSX-SE, the affinity mask = 0, and the CPU is automatically utilised correctly with or without hyperthreading. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com

I don't use the Steam version at the moment, though I did buy it when it was on sale. If I ever need to reinstall FSX I will be using that instead of the original.
