I'm a former AMD/ATi guy that was forced to go nVidia to keep the pace.

As am I.

In no way am i disparaging AMD products, my 295x2 was very good for most other games like Elite Dangerous, Far Cry 4 etc...  It was pretty awful in either DCS world or P3D, even then i could have leaved with it, but i had a problem with my multi monitor setup in which randomly the screen would go blank, the Eyefinity forum was full of people complaining but nothing at all happened, i was stuck on driver 14.4, the only driver that worked.

I now have a 980, it's been fine.  I won't be returning to AMD any time soon.

Come on guys, get with the program!

Yep - Allllll that waiting and speculation and the Fury X is dead on arrival if you ask me.  Needs to cost less than the 980 Ti otherwise there is very little reason to buy it, especially if you factor in driver support.

980ti beats it anyway.  Get a 980ti and do yourself a favor.

And then throw in Nvidia's SLI potential.......

I want a 980Ti someday. It is pricey, but oh so good looking.
