Thank you very much for this outstanding airport.Much better than your earlier versiion that was hard on the framerates. This version runs smooth on my machine full with AI and ASV at very dense setting.Keep up the great work.Bill M

Hi jprintz,Drop us a line at [email protected] or [email protected] with your information and we'll get this figured out. Your system should be having no problems with this scenery as a number of beta testers (and myself) have similar systems to yours. Sincerely,Joshua

OUTSTANDING!!!! IMHOVirtually no frame rate hit at all with massive PSI traffic, mainly United and Southwest Airlines.Just leased a piece of real estate, built my Eaglesoft Hanger and established a fixed base operation. I may have to make this an alternate home airport.Thank you kindly for such a dandy contribution.RTH

Guys,Thanks for this new version.....amazing!It's such a massive improvement in performance over the old one. Payware quality no doubt. You should be proud of your contribution to the FS world. How about Martin State next? ;)Glenn

Martin State DOES sound like a good idea !

Hi; I downloaded it and installed it and followed all the instructions in the Readme file. Then went to give a try and used one of Meljets 747 on the active runway and got nothing but the aircraft crashing while sitting there. Tried another aircraft with the same result. Any ideas or suggestions? In fact I'm going to try it again. It worked fine and I tried another Meljet 747 and I do notice the buildings are very dark too. Good Job! Robin

Robin,I'll check out the 747 issue you are having and send you an e-mail as to what I find. Or, you can e-mail me at [email protected]. As for the buildings being very dark, I can answer that one. BWI is painted black; so, we intentionally made the buildings very dark to match. In fact, a number of the building textures were created directly from photos I took of the airport with my digital camera. Finally, for all of those with Ultimate Terrain USA, we made sure the airport and UT fit together. I'm also getting MegaScenery Mid-Atlantic soon, and will verify the airport fits correctly in that scenery as well. Thanks again for all the kind words,Joshua

Just took a look at this scenery. I like it very much! Perhaps a very minor FPS hit, but not so much that it really makes any difference to me. Great job, guys!KP

Joshua got your e-mail and yes the Lufthansa repaint of the meljet was very unstable so I dumped it. Everything now works very well and when I've finished tweaking some panels I'll do some flying out of KBWI. Robin

So far the only thing a bit diggy is if one tries to use MSFS9 ATC to taxi from some locations.Unfortunately, I realize that this KBWI contribution is probably much more correct in scenery placement than that which was included by Mr. Gates. I haven't tried VatSim yet, but suspect that unless the controller is also useing this profile, the path will be through the middle of some terminal buildings in order to reach the designated taxi locations. A note to the controller on the flight plan might be well advised.Probably the easiest way to deal with this will be to locate one's aircraft near the active runway when requesting ATC. After landing is of course another matter. Thanks again for the great contribution FoxtrotSierra.RTH

Can't this be adjusted in the AFCAD file?

You are probably correct. Thanks for the idea.

There are some problems with the afcad, nodes not connected, and overlapping. Otherwise its a fine piece of work, great job, looking forward to the next project

Thanks for the great input! I do want to point out one thing about the AFCAD. We intentionally disconnected a node near Runway 28. When taking-off from BWI on Rwy 28, the airplanes do not use that little loop across the runway. They simply roll onto the runway and take-off. As for the other little issues (overlapping nodes) in the AFCAD, I wish I could say those were intentional! LOL Lastly, I didn't understand the point about ATC and directing traffic. I haven't had that problem yet. If there is a fix though for the AFCAD, please let us know at [email protected] as we've not been able to re-create that particular bug (when using either VATSIM or ATC). Thanks again folks,JoshuaP.S. With all of these nice responses, you may trick us yet into doing another soon. ;-)
