I just downloaded and installed version 2.0.1. Admittedly I have a high-end computer, but all I can say is WOW about this aircraft. It may be the best add-on I have ever bought. Certainly will be one of my favorites for many months to come.

>A few little changes, mostly to address fps problems some>were having with v2. >>Available for download now at http://www.aeroworx.com>How can I find out if I already have version 2.01? The newswas from July 16 and I bought it on July 17 so maybe I already have2.01? But the menue items only list 2.0.

You don't have v2.0.1 if you purchased on July 17. That was v2 that was released on the 16th. 2.0.1 was just released yesterday, July 22. The menus say 2.0 but they are now 2.0.1.Jim

One of the best ways is to simply look in the exe you downloaded. You will see a "Version" line in the information window above the reinstall button.

Thanks,

Got to be honest about this aircraft. With all the positive comments I have read, I decided to purchase it today. I was really disappointed in this aircraft. I have flown the ATR-72 and the PMDG-737 and spent many hours mastering and flying both of those products. I just don't think that this aircraft is in the same league. The flight model to me , is a step above a default MSFS aircraft. The hassle that it seems you have to go through to adjust certain functions by moving from pullup screen to pullup screen is a real pain as far as I am concerned. The sounds are all weak in my opinion, the only thing that seems really good is the physical appearance of the aircraft.... This is one payware that I don't feel was anywhere near worth the cost, and is a couple of notches about the average freeware.

Hi Bob,You certainly have a right to your opinion. But, lest you sway someone who might be considering this masterpiece, you are wrong!I notice you are a private pilot and I give you credit for that. However, I too have some experience in the real world. And based upon my 12,000 hours bouncing around up there, I can tell you and anyone else that might be interested, the Aeroworx King Air is as close as FS2004 gets to real. And don't take it from me. There are several King Air pilots who have endorsed it as well.No offense sir. bob, you wrote"The hassle that it seems you have to go through to adjust certain functions by moving from pullup screen to pullup screen is a real pain as far as I am concerned",god thanks the F1 ATR 72 has only one panel window where all knobs and switches are settled !and the PMDG-737 has the best 737 sounds onboard ever seen !?Try mastering the B200 with the same amount of hours you did for the ATR 72 and the PMDG 737 before complaining."This is one payware that I don't feel was anywhere near worth the cost, and is a couple of notches about the average freeware.",without any words, unbelievable. in my natural language i would know what i had to say about an statement like this.Ron

"The flight model to me , is a step above a default MSFS aircraft.":-lol :-lol :-lol :-lol :-lol :-lol :-lol :-lolBob, this aircraft was endorsed by at least two active B-200 pilots who were very much involved with this project. If you go to the Aeroworx forum there are several others that have had time in the Kingair and will attest to the accuracy of the flight model. BobbySteady on there. I don't think there's any need to laugh your head off at Bob's comments. I would have thought he was entitled to voice his opinion without ridicule. Others have said the B200 is the best thing out there. Unfortunately Bob thinks otherwise. C'est la vie.Others have also stepped in to show Bob the 'error of his ways', but I don't think there's any right or wrong here. I think that in these circumstances people should say what THEY think about a product, and let others do likewise. I for one have never really got on with the RealAir Spitfire, so what about that!! And can you imagine what'll happen in a few weeks time if some poor soul comes here and says: 'Hey, that PMDG 747 - I really don't like it....'Best wishesIan

IanThe Aeroworx B200 is without doubt one of the all time greats even with the bugs with the first version. Why? because of its immersion value its incredible sense of making you feel that you are really there.Yes Bob is entitled to his opinion and I havent tried the update version. Unless the update has seriously changed the aircraft then I have to seriously question Bobs judgement on this occasion.Peter

Guess I will have to read the next reply, cause this one didn't do it for me.. :)

Peter,Run and get the V2. If you liked the V1 with the bugs then you will love the V2 with the steam guages. The only change is the team worked the bugs out. You also get two new livery and choice to fly analogue or EFIS panel.Absolutely brilliant!Bobby

I have been flying FS aircraft for years and so many times I would read about an aircraft that had rave reviews, and when I would try it I would find that I didn't care for the way it flew at all. I get to fly all kinds of very high end airline and military simulators on occasion as well as real aircraft, and sorry folks, but this B200 doesn't feel right to me. Maybe that is what the real aircraft feels like, and maybe I wouldn't like the way a real B-200 behaves either, I am not sure. It seems much to pitch sensitive when you move the trim, especially in the approach and landing phase. I am going to practice with this airplane some more just hand flying it, and see if I am missing something, but so far, I'm not at all impressed.

Bob,Strong name by the way;-) Let me apologize for the last comment I made. Very poor taste I admit. I just found your critique a little over-the-top.I too have the ATR and 737 and have spent many wonderful hours "mastering" them as well. However, I would encourage you to spent a little more time in the B-200. Go to the Aeroworx forum. They have an outstanding support staff that go out of their way to help out. I'm willing to bet you will come to enjoy B200 as much as the aircrafts you have listed in your signature.Again I apologizeBobby:-)
