July 23, 200520 yr I reckon not being able to directly load 100% fuel in some tanks is pretty annoying too!Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
July 23, 200520 yr my biggest annoyance is a bug MS needs to fix in the next version. And that is, when in the VC (I think 2d views too), if you open up the ATC window, then close it, you can't use the + and - keys to zoom in and out anymore! You need to cycle the views back to be able to zoom in and out. WHAT A PAIN!!!!!!!
July 23, 200520 yr I got rid of that using editvoicepack. You also have to disable the atc chatter loop as well otherwise you hear as if atc keys the mic but doesnt say anything. Its very nice having all that go away.Kilstorm
July 23, 200520 yr Hey guys., people who cant fly there lil' aeroplane straight on the runway should go back to basics... like "snakes and ladders" :-bla CheersDan

July 24, 200520 yr Sorry, never did "snakes and ladders" and some times I don't fly my "lil'aeroplane straight on the runway". Know what? Doesn't matter yet. The fun is in the learning. But then again matbe I should do as you say and go back to the basics because in my learning I missed the part were one "flies" their plane "on" the runway. Heck! all this time I've been doing it wrong! I've flown off of, onto a runway, but never fly "on"a runway. I usally taxi on a runway and do my flying in the air. Things that annoy me about FS2004 are all those who forgot they were once new to the hobby and had to learn from good people willing to put up with our repetitious questions to give us "good" answers. Maybe one day I'll be able to give a "good" answer to someone who is in basics and can't fly their lil' aeroplane onto the runway. Best regardsJan1,KINDWhen I push the button and it works, I'm happy:-)
July 25, 200520 yr BUT -- nobody has commented about the annoying "Turn at next taxiway"!! :) I mean -- all right, all right, I 'll turn at the next d*** taxiway -- just give me a chance to reach it!!! :)Barry

I don't wanna park at an airport where I'm gonna be nagged constantly. Really confuses ATC when you suddenly takeoff again! }(
July 26, 200520 yr Bazza,We musn't forget that FS9 is still labeled by Microshaft as a game.Had you been one of the people that has bought Fs9 and never experienced any flight simulation before you would probably be greatful for their guidance?Yes, I know it's a bit of a pain for us die-hards but you don't have to do all they say do you?The complete answer to this is to dispense with your flying within the program and to break out and fly 'on-line' with all the experts and official and very strict Air Traffic Controllers that exist in the main ATC servers.Dave T. .........On the lovely warm Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/ Dave Taylor
July 27, 200520 yr Being told to "turn" or "descend" in an IFR ATC flightplan when 120 miles from my destination and then being taken half-way around the world before being lined up with the ILS at my original destination!or...Hearing every other IFR flight being told they are 80 feet above (or below) their assigned altitude!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!RegardsAdamFS9.1Win XPPrescott 3.20 GHz - 2GB RAMAsus ATi Radeon X800 Pro TD 256MBOmega Radeon ATI Drivers19" CRT 1600x1200 @ 100hzAudiophile 24/96 Audiohttp://www.hhukrecordings.co.ukJAR PPL/IMC
July 27, 200520 yr Author I`m with you there, GaryThe fuel loading screen is and always has always been unreliable. Not only does it not always accept 100% but you can`t tab down through the tanks. Right click pausing FS is a pain in the #### too - especially on those nice panels that have right-clickable gauges. The D/fleet 734 used to have left click for 10 knots, right click for 1 knot (or the other way round) on the glareshield panel but if you were just a little off with the mouse click - BANG - sense-of-immersion destroyed and wait for an age for it to get going again. That said, it would take a long post to list all the things I do like about FS..CheersLungs
