Yemenis must be doing well. They've laid the Khormaksar to turf since I was there! :lol: I remember like it was yesterday getting out of the VC10 and it was like walking into an oven! A shock to the moony system but it's amazing what you can get used to. Good times. Well, apart from the NLF lobbing grenades. :rolleyes:

Thanks for commenting!......The turf is FSX and I can see very harsh conditions as reported by other British expedition members. You can still see the old dirt airfield at Mukairas.

Not kidding: record the landing with FS Recorder shut off Sat Africa in the Scenery Library automatically loading FSX and play back the approach and take screens.

British presence a long way from home......VC10 the original Queen Of The Skies!
