July 25, 200520 yr http://www.rhodesres.com/dusty/purty.jpgIf the eight-year-old graphics engine of Falcon:Allied Force can show cloud shadows we BETTER have them. Look how great it makes these otherwise mediocre graphics look. You can really SEE how high the cloud formations are- it makes the weather really look 3D.
July 25, 200520 yr there we go again.....Who are you that enables you to decide what Microsoft should or should not do over the heads of their corporate leadership? And who are you to decide what users of their products want or don't want?

July 25, 200520 yr "He's merely expressing a personal opinion."....and I happen to agree with it! Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
July 25, 200520 yr "Who are you that enables you to decide what Microsoft should or should not do over the heads of their corporate leadership? And who are you to decide what users of their products want or don't want?"He is a customer Jeroen, same as you or I. Regardless of what we do for a living, or our age, our beliefs, our dining preferences (I prefer Italian :) ),all customers are equal, and have every right to express wishes for what they want. To put it another way, please do not censor his opinion by inserting a negative tone into this thread. Nothing in his post warranted that. -John
July 25, 200520 yr Like he said, "here we go again"This is just another way of saying, I want, I want, I want.I just never ends. Next it will be bugs on the windshield, bird strikes, rabbits or deer on the runway and grass in the wheelpants.Cal (CYXX)

July 25, 200520 yr I've been meaning to ask - what exactly IS a Flight1 'Certified Professional'???Just curious..Ian
July 25, 200520 yr Someone that extra bit 'special' I guess.... and it also allows them to display their status to the whole world! lol
July 25, 200520 yr So what is being said is that it ISN'T official, and it may not represent the opinion of `we` the community? I `officially` don't care either way if cloud shadows are simulated, there are other much more important isues that need dealing with first. So what is wrong with challenging the original post? If he has the right to express the opinion, others have the right to express theirs too. And if I `have` to have something, it ought to have a switch to turn it off as most of the time cloud shadows would be a waste of time and resources. Allcott
July 25, 200520 yr Ian,As I understand, 'certified' is a proof of madness.Dave T. .........On the lovely warm Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/ Dave Taylor
