September 15, 201510 yr Commercial Member What I hate is when I switch views the view is reset. Make the view commands work for you! I have four buttons assigned to the first two view presets - each pair is a button to switch to that view preset and a button to save a new view to that preset. So basically, when I adjust my view via panning, I hit the save button for that preset, and from that point on, that preset is my new adjusted view. You could do with a single pair of course, or just use the keyboard commands to save the presets, but this way it's very quick and easy. I'm still flying both XP and FSX, and this is one area where XP is head and shoulders above FSX, in my opinion. The view system really is so sweet! I never knew how clumsy the view system was in FSX until I started flying XP. Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
September 15, 201510 yr I use XP10 especially because of its HDR capabilities. The pixel wise light rendering makes XP10 stay ahead of the competition. E.g. the 732 Twinjet by FJS is a dream come true regarding cockpit lighting, glow, shadows etc. Also the backlit analog instruments are second to none IMO. So all this without HDR would be less than half the fun... Claus KUEPPER
