August 23, 200520 yr For those like me who have been waiting along time for a new EHAM for FS9 just checked the Cloud9 site and i am downloading now.Looking forward to this one.DArren
August 23, 200520 yr Hi,When you've got it up and running please post a mini review. I am sure many are interested in this addon. Thanks,Paul

I>am sure many are interested in this addon.A suggestion: there's no need to wait for other people to buy it and review it, the scenery is sold as a Try-before-buy, anyone can just freely download it from Cloud9 site and try it firsthand, and then decide about buying it.The trial it's the full product: no missing objects, it just lasts 8 minutes, then the scenery disappears until the next FS restart, were you have other 8 minutes, and so on... August 23, 200520 yr Well i am pretty impressed. The busiest airport ihave ever seen in FS by some way.Heavy on FPS when facing the city to say the least.I removed a file called ams_ct.bgl and got a 10fps increase when facing the nth east.Steady at 15-17 when on a rwy in the PMDG 744.Not many stutters though when on approach. All the Ai aircraft have service vehicles which is awesome to see and there are busses and tugs etc running everywhere.Gates look awesome when they swing out tomeet your 744.Nice textures for both the airport and surrounds. Most impressed!!Darren
August 23, 200520 yr Hi,I installed it too and it's a frate killer (at least on my system)Parked the PMDG 736 somewhere on the ramp and had 13 fps.Too low for my taste, which is a pitty because the scenery itself looks great.EDIT:Removed the ams_ct.bgl as you did, and now I have 17fps.I'm curious about other user experiences.System:AMD 64 35002GB Corsair XMS memoryRadeon X850XT 256MB Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
August 23, 200520 yr I'm currently using the freeware EHAM airport scenry (NL2000) I believe http://www.nl-2000.com/nuke/. Is this scenery better? I know I can install the demo for a free trial, but I dont want to confuse/mess up my current EHAM scenery. Any quick opinions would be greatly appreciated. -mike Manny Patel
August 23, 200520 yr Well I have downloaded and installed and to be honest it really does not cut it for me.Comparing against FlyTampa Seattle it look as though it should be freeware.Just my opinion.
August 23, 200520 yr Installed it, started up FS9 and went to EHAM and looked around. good detail but fps is very bad and after a few minutes i had a CTD, my first, never had one before. So i uninstalled it using add/remove software, but i can see now it has left some things in there, hopefully nothing that will crash my FS9 again :-mad.OHN
August 23, 200520 yr I almost don't want to uninstall the NL2000 scenery. If I do I will loose Rotterdam, Maastricht, and Eindhoven. I use those airports often.
August 23, 200520 yr Commercial Member >What EXACTLY does removing the ams_ct.bgl file remove from>the scenery? It will remove the buildings from the City of Amsterdam, nothing in the airport will change. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook
August 24, 200520 yr Bit of a tough call if you lose all those as well.Having given it a solid going over its certainlyone of the best airport sceneries ihave ever seen.Think of Flytampa Dubao but increase the level of detail by 50% and thats what you have here.I am running with 100% AI from UT which is heavily modified to add more traffic and like i said 15-18FPS all around once the ct file is removed. Those densley packed buildings of AMS are a real problem for this airport sim if left in and dropped my FPS to around 6 when landing or taking off on Rwy 06.The cloud9 guys are releasing a mod program to allow you to turn on and off certain features if you want. All together its a great airport and well worth the 25US being asked. Some of the airport glass textures are amazing.SeeyaDarren
August 24, 200520 yr I have tried it, it's a huge fps killer even with city of amsterdam removed. I can not use asv pmdg and cloud together, so i have to make a decission. By the way, if i use LIRF made by freeware designers, i have almost no impact, i know Eham by cloud 9 is more comprehensive, but i think LIRF is doing the right thing for simmers regarding trading fps for reallity.RickPent 3.2 1024 htasus p4c800hd 200gb 4 partitionsmaxtor 7200 rpmati 9800pro 256 cat 5.8 ATTools21"IIyama crt19" relisys crtwin xp sp2 CH yoke + pedals+ dell laptop for asv ivae etc
August 24, 200520 yr Author Hi,I installed the scenery yesterday. It's a beauty. In my Transavia 738 from PMDG at the gate, hardly any FPS kill (average 18-20) with 100% custom AI.Cloud9 did a good job. Now my homeport is up to date with beautiful features. August 24, 200520 yr Is there a way to delete the NL2000 Schiphol and keep Rotterdam, Maastricht, and Eindhoven? Then I would be able to keep those 3 airports and buy the EHAM.
