Wow. Finally found the file. Just typed it in google and brought me to the correct page on the site, and bam! Got 'em. Very amazing textures. The best yet in a sim. Thanks so muchRegardsTim

The textures look great. I just can't believe that they won't have an impact on performance when the file sizes are ten times the original.Gonna give them a try though for sure.Adam

These textures are about half the file size of those in Airport Environment Update (AEU 7), which are of the same resolution BTW. But going by screenshots alone, I'd say these look waaay better. Anyway, I find it hard to believe that they do not impact performance. Replacing 811Kb of default textures with 10Mb of modded ones should have some hit on performance. Anyway, I'll try them and see. Even if they do impact performance, textures can be reduced in size with sharpness filters and make them look as good as full size but at lower file sizes. There's a detailed post on how to achieve this somewhere on these forums w.r.t. Chris Arrington's AEU7.Keith

Anyone use these at a payware airport like Simflyers and the PMDG744 yet at the same time?

FS Freeware rocks http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/otn/wink/thumb.gifI have found a ton of stuff on there and use it regularly all the time. I am very grateful to the people who run it....or any massive freeware file database for that matter. Thanks to the original poster for pointing us to this nice texture set!

Sweet new runways!Thanks,Jeff

Tried them out...not bad!Bill

I already downsized them to 64x64 (32Kb image) which is the default FS9 and they look really good. The funny part is that when I zip the folder with the resized textures it is only 540Mb.If you want to see a couple of pics check them here:http://www.aavirtual.com/forums/showthread...=&threadid=9702And anyone interested in these resized textures, just e-mail me at [email protected]

I've installed them and can get everyting to work except the winter textures. When I switch the season to winter I get that dreaded error with the Send / Don't Send buttons and FS9 just quits.Any thoughts on this one? Spring, Summer and Fall all work fine. And it's winter that has the kewlest textures (I think).Thanks.Paul.
