November 3, 201510 yr I'd rather see him using his Macbook Pro to code the fixes to the torque ( and other ) flight dynamics bugs in X-Plane 10, while driving, swimming, heating, etc.... We need a fix soon! November 5, 201510 yr I look forward to the day when autonomous cars can mitigate traffic congestion problems. Such tech would require some sort of cloud computing environment that all cars would use so they'd be aware of the traffic situation at large, and that cloud environment would monitor and regulate the traffic flow. From this if follows that a scaled service fee, i.e. tax, could be imposed where one could pay extra for additional bandwitdh, i.e. fast lane access, which is just like the toll lane BS (aka the Lexus Lane) we now have in California. <follow-on rant removed> Such a system would also allow emergency vehicles to get to their destinations with maximum efficiency. I imagine if such a system crashed the traffic flow would become every-car-for-itself. If one happened at the peak of rush hour, I wonder what sort of mess that would create, i.e. how polite would a car's AI be with other AI motorist. November 6, 201510 yr Moderator The major concern I have with "Wazers" is that even though it is mostly "passive" it nonetheless requires that drivers text while driving to add any "special reports" to the system! :Shame On You: Fr.
