December 10, 201510 yr How I didn't discover PRO-ATC before now I'll never know. But for me it's 'thanks for the memories' and goodnight RC4 and PFE. I'm sure some of you NGX flyers will be running NGX Reboot and PRO-ATC together? If so I'd be very pleased to know how you have set up PRO-ATC to work alongside Reboot successfully. I realise it's about leaving the right boxes checked in order to let the PRO-ATC F.O. work the comms, while you fly the plane in conjunctiuon with FS2Crew. I am about to experiment with the PRO-ATC settings but if anyone would care to share thier experience I'd be very interested in your recommendations. Many thanks, Gareth Gareth Wilkinson LEAL Costa Blanca, SPAIN
December 10, 201510 yr Hello! I have yet to upgrade to NGX reboot, but these are the settings I have been happy with. I let ProATC's co-pilot handle radios, contact controllers and confirm instructions. March 13, 201610 yr Author Thanks, and my apologies Jarkko, this thread slipped off my radar. Really appreciate the trouble you went to in your reply. I honestly believe this topic merits more discussion. Hopefully others will experiment with this great combo and be willing to share their experiences. After a fltsim spring-clean and rebuild I'm about to do just that. Cheers Bryan, you marvel Gareth Wilkinson LEAL Costa Blanca, SPAIN
August 9, 20169 yr I just now tried this combo and it's amazing, I was about to ask the same question too. Since I am using fs2crew with the PMDG 777 and Pro ATC/X. I'm also wondering if any of you use PFPX and Aivlasoft EFB as well with Pro-ATC/X. I'm starting to think that Aivlasoft EFB is not needed anymore, since Pro-ATC/X has a moving map as well. But I still rely on PFPX for how much fuel and payload to load and also for take off and landing performance calculations as well. I usually create a flight plan in Pro ATC/X and then copy the route into PFPX, and then export 3 files. PMDG 777 rte, PMDG wX, and P3D .pln (in case I want to load it up into Aivlasoft EFB, other than that, I'm not sure what the P3D .pln file is even necessary).
