February 8, 201610 yr I've noticed that many just read the title of the thread and chime in with a "me too!" Sure would save a lot of time if some would read through to see if their problem has already been answered. IMHO I think this will always be a bit of an act of balance. Sure people (myself included) could often be better when it comes to doing a search before posting and in the same way people could read an already started thread more carefully before posting their own comments to avoid misunderstandings, confusion or simply unnecessary posts. However at the same time I'm not sure if it's realistic to expect that everyone should always read through ever single post in threads that sometimes spans over lots and lots of pages. I think the best thing would be if we all try to be very good when it comes to marking an answer as 'Best answer'. That way it will be very easy for anyone starting to read the thread to see a solution (or at least a 'Best answer') has already been made just like in the case of this thread.
February 8, 201610 yr I agree, Richard. I am not sure why people need to be so critical of others if they haven't read every post in a thread. As you say, it isn't realistic to expect everyone to read every single post, particularly if the thread runs into several pages. I think we simply need to be more tolerant of what is (after all) hardly a criminal offence! February 8, 201610 yr This^^ is your problem - with P3D pushing more over to the GPU to handle, your poor GPU is getting drowned... February 8, 201610 yr I run 3x32" qnix monitors at 2560x1440 on an (antiquated?) i5 2500k and gtx 770 with all sorts of frame eating aircraft and airports. P3D still performs well. Now I don't do the nvidia surround, I just draw the p3d window to the size of the 3 monitors...and it still performs. Now if I drag all my sliders to the right: it doesn't perform. and yes, I know the op found a solution, but I laughed when someone said the 770 was a crappy card... Cheers, Jonathan
February 8, 201610 yr The point, IMHO is, most of the people here are trying to help and trying to share their experience. There are the ones that are more polite than maybe others but still all of us are a major source of knowledge. Greetz MJ My youtube blog________________________Prepar3D v2.5/v3
February 9, 201610 yr Author Although I canceled my refund, LM blocked the license nonetheless... I think they didn't read the second email I sent them to NOT give me a refund as I want to keep the sim. Sent a third email yesterday evening to cancel it, AGAIN, but I already received an email that I will be refunded and no reply yet. What should I do now? Wait until they reply or buy P3D again? I know I was a little too quick, having tried nearly everything to run the sim stable I thought it would never be solved..
February 9, 201610 yr If I was in your situation I would simply buy it again since you already received an email you'll be refunded for the first license you bought. However if you're not in a rush I guess the best option would be to get in touch with LM to sort everything out.

No problem for you, it seems to me, but just so you know. If I were you I would solve the refund problem first before ordering a new copy.
