GA add-on aircraft with low framerate hit?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm noticing that my Alabeo DA-40 is costing 5-10 fps vs. the default Bonanza...

Can anyone recommend any GA add-on aircraft builders whose aircraft don't take such a toll?

thanks,

Andrew

Does it work in P3D? I don't know

Anyone know what the Legacy panel looks like without the F1 GTN stuff installed? Can't seem to find a screenshot without it.

Ryan posted one here, 4th screenshot:

Lotus L39 is super fps friendly...  I fly the Reno racer version (more of a civil cockpit)...  amazing aircraft.

Otherwise the A2A pipers are fps friendly... for some reason their 182 is a hog on my rig.

Ya know?...I've still never gotten what I would call a decent landing out of the 182 (must be dain bramage).  Just built a new P3D sim from scratch and installed it.  I just sat there looking at it trying to flare with my eyes going crossed.  It just...doesn't.  How's the Cherokee do?

Did I say Cherokee?  I meant the Comanche.

The 182 approach and landing speed is quite slow

Try 65 kias on final and 55 dirty touchdown

Okay, close enough.  When I first flew one RW it seemed a lot easier.

That's my general thought about real flying vs flightsim....
