May 1, 201610 yr Using both and still most of the time at the Prepar3D camp, but agree that X-Plane is getting better and quicker these days. Bring ASN, MyTraffic and ProATC to X-plane and things would change quickly. Hans
May 1, 201610 yr I've kind of gotten over the AI traffic thing. Even in P3D, for FPS reasons, I'm just turning off UT2 most of the time. Orbx airports have static planes anyway. But that's a personal thing. Some have to have it, some don't.But I'd really like to see ProATC come to X-Plane. It's just so easy to use in flight.
May 1, 201610 yr The night scenes are spectacular! They look really alive, those airports, vibrant! Night flying in RW is what is most exciting for me. Sascha Rieger | EVO Developer What is EVO • How to get Evo 2016 • FS9 Evolution Forum
May 2, 201610 yr Those are hands down the best XPlane shots I have ever seen. If there was ever a great showcase to encourage anyone to use XP, those shots are it.
May 2, 201610 yr Fantastic shots! And yes, yes: XPlane is a great sim-platform. I still use FSX and XPlane together though, as currently both platfrorms have to offer a lot for what i am searching for whenever i go flightsimming. But will see, will see how things will evolve in the future. And again saying: Great, super great pictures here! Enjoy flying and happy landings.
May 2, 201610 yr Author Thank you very much for the comments, guys! As for the problems of X-Plane, yes, of course they are there. I do enjoy the water reflections on X-Plane, but overall, the oceans on P3D do, in my opinion, look better. AI Traffic, as I said, is also harder to implement. Overall though, for example, landing on O´Hare at dusk using X-Plane brings me such a joy...I can only compare those moments to the early experiences that I had with FS5.1. Really remarkable..
