July 4, 20169 yr Author Anyone know how to map the heading and navigation modes with the saitek multi panel? Would love to have this working.
July 4, 20169 yr As much as I do like the Flysimware Learjet, I must warn potential buyers that the autopilot glideslope tracking using the GTN750 just is not reliable yet. I have rev 2.5 Using either radio localizers or GPS with vertical nav, the LJ will couple to the glide-path, but as I approach the airfield, it may spontaneously de-couple and switch back to the 'armed' state, thereby losing control. The GTN works perfectly with my other aircraft, so it is not to blame. I am disappointed that this behavior has not been corrected yet by Flysimware. Dave Swigert I have never seen that problem. Make sure your speeds don't fall too low on approach. For me the thing flies perfectly stable at 125-130kts IAS on an approach down to minimums, depending on weight. Dave P. Woycek
July 4, 20169 yr The only thing I can think of is that my test flights for this craft have been done at high altitude airports. They are KFNL (ILS 33) and KCYS (ILS 27) (Cheyenne Wyoming). Maybe someone can confirm these runways. I was holding 125 ias with gears down and full flaps. July 6, 20169 yr Picked up the 35A before the sales ended. I have to say, they did improve their textures quite a bit over the MU-2. Look forward to spending some time flying her, but wanted to give credit where credit is do, they did step up the textures on this release. Allen, flight sim lover and AA-5 Traveler owner
July 7, 20169 yr oh my, you guys are so caught up with visuals and textures. There is enough systems simulation stuff that needs fixing. Dave P. Woycek
July 8, 20169 yr Decided to get a copy of the new Milviz WX Radar (currently 50% off) to try with the 35A.... Man, with the GTN750 and the WX Radar both working side by side in the panel, this is a particularly fantastic package. Flew around some stormy ASN weather last night, what a treat. Very impressed. Smooth on the frame rate to boot. Will be flying this package quite a bit I foresee. Allen, flight sim lover and AA-5 Traveler owner

July 8, 20169 yr LJ35A with GTN750 is the best plane I ever flew in the flight sim. Can't wait for Falcon 50 to be released.
July 11, 20169 yr LJ35A with GTN750 is the best plane I ever flew in the flight sim. Can't wait for Falcon 50 to be released. As long as they consider doing the Falcon without Collins Proline avionics but Garmin integration instead, I am not too excited. While the real-world Learjet 35A has been upgraded with all sorts of avionics, among them the GTN 750 and other Garmin elements, I haven't heard anything like that of the Falcon 50. Dave P. Woycek
July 11, 20169 yr Well, I understand you, but I rather have GTN750 then some FMS Carenado style. There are few business jets in sim market so everything new is welcome. MilViz LJ60EX is what could be interested in you since it will be equipped with PL21 and Uni FMS, but that will probably come in next millennium

MilViz LJ60EX is what could be interested in you since it will be equipped with PL21 and Uni FMS, but that will probably come in next millennium I get your point. Nobody wants a Carenado-style systems simulation. However, as much as I do love and appreciate the F1 GTN units, developers should not slap them into just about every new addon aircraft out of convenience because they don't want to develop an FMS/avionics package that is faithful to the actually modeled aircraft. July 17, 20169 yr Question for you Lear 35 drivers, still loving the package, but have one question: My Lear always wants to roll left when flying. Power, weather, speed, altitude, nor loading seem to matter. Even when on AP in level flight, it banks to compensate to keep a straight course. Not a joystick issue, as no other planes do this and the VC yoke is centered. Probably missing something simple, any ideas? Otherwise, love this package! Apologies if this was asked before, I flipped through forum and google'd but didn't see anything. Thanks all! Allen, flight sim lover and AA-5 Traveler owner

Are you certain that you loaded tip tank and wing tank fuel and pax/cargo symmetrically? That's about the only reason I could think of. Dave P. Woycek
