Recommend Traffic add on that doesnt cause double AFCADS?

 Another idea that's very simple is to open your MyTraffic\Scenery folder and just remove each AF2 or BR2 file that you know you have addon scenery for. No need to even rename it, just move them out of the scenery folder so that it's not read by the sim.

I also have this problem. Will removing the file from mytraffic 6 mean that I won't get AI working at that airport? I mean what functionality will I lose if so?

No your addon airports afcad will then be the one used, Ai will still work properly.

The purpose of the Mytraffic afcads is primarily to give the default airports the correct airline gate assignments, your third party afcads should already be set up to place the correct airlines at the right parking spots.
