But, is there a Juancho E Yraunsquin in Norway ? because this name is the Dutch airport in Caribbean island of Saba not in Europe.

With tubeliners or prop ?

Hello Simbo;

Yes, sorry, my mistake. That airport is in the Netherlands :)

Oh, Lugano looks awesome, thank you.

I think Vágar at faroe islands also should be added to the list. Especially Runway 12 during which approach you fly through a narrow fjord canyon.

Going off memory so correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Gibraltar (LXGB) have a fairly tricky approach for one of it's runways?

(I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet).

Best regards,

Hi Nealmac,

I have mentioned it in the beginning.

Great topic! Not Europe, but possibly the most difficult in the world is Paro, Bhutan. According to a documentary I watched recently (BBC City in the Sky), only 26 commercial pilots are qualified to make the landing.

Sorry, so I see. Need new glasses.

Best regards,

Last week I watched a National Geographic documentary on the worlds most challenging approaches. My eyes were glued to the TV for the entire 2 hours. Ill see if I National Geographic has posted it to their website or on YouTube. If i find the link I will share it.
