December 11, 20169 yr Are your modifications compatible with Real Terra Haze? I think my tweaks change some datarefs also changed by RealTerraHaze (atmospheric scattering constants, cloud puff size), but you can try neverthless, nothing dangerous should happen. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

Is your Lua script specific to your cloud textures? Or will it depict the weather fine with HD Clouds v2?
December 16, 20169 yr Thanks, the script seems to work fine with RTH. Is your Lua script specific to your cloud textures? Or will it depict the weather fine with HD Clouds v2? It works with any cloud texture, but probably different textures can produce different end results in how the clouds looks. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

December 16, 20169 yr I tried out HD clouds v2 but they looked a bit weird when used with your script. Do you know where I can find your HD clouds textures? Thanks Try this new LUA script (if you're using X-Plane 11): https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5fyJwRhjar5cDhXclgxRTFxdjg For it to work correctly, you have to change the weather at least one time, every time you start X-Plane (for example, just moving the visibility slider will be enough). You can use any cloud texture you like, try using also other textures instead of HD clouds v2 (I think there are different cloud textures available on x-plane.org), maybe you could get better results. Let me see some screenshots if you've got good results! "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

December 16, 20169 yr I'm actually using XP10 for now. Is there a different script for XP10? Try this script that I just wrote, maybe it works better with HD clouds v2. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5fyJwRhjar5V0lWOWV3RHBVOTQ However, I can get better results with clouds in X-Plane 11, so I stopped experimenting with X-Plane 10, which is more limited in terms of cloud tweaks. Thanks for the script, the clouds look a lot better now. Here are a couple of screenshots: These were taken with FS Global Real Weather and RTH. Cloud detail is set to 10%. However, the HD clouds are pretty heavy on frames. Do you have any recommendations for cloud textures other than HD Clouds v2?
December 17, 20169 yr Murmur, is the second script for XP10 or 11 ? I do use CLouds HD V2 in xp10 guess i can try it with XP11 but in XP11 flywithlua does not seem to work. Though I will check the forums for that. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

Just need to get the right flywithlua. Will let you know how it goes Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 18, 20169 yr Murmur, how Xp11 get better results with freeware clouds? The XP11 clouds system textures (png files) is equal to XP10. The XP11 weather engine is equal to XP10 (only the interface is different). If XP10 generate repeated clouds, XP11 also generate repeated clouds. Everything is the same as before. [Pc Intel i3-4160 3,6 GHz, 8 GB di RAM, GeForce RTX-3060 12 GB, Win10 Home 64 bit]

It's not exactly the same, because X-Plane 11 has additional datarefs that allow a more granular control of cloud puff size and density. I've been able to get better results thanks to this compared to X-Plane 10. It's still far from perfect though. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
