December 18, 20169 yr Thanks Murmur. I conducted some experiments with special textures to understand the "logic x-plane clouds". The result has allowed me to compile a map of how x-plane use cirrus-scattered-broken-stratus-overcast clouds. This scheme works with XP10 and Xp11. December 18, 20169 yr Good job. I already did those experiments some time ago reaching the same results. The first column is used both for "cirrus" (internally named "hi cir") and "few cumulus" (internally named "lo cir"). So unfortunately you can't have a realistic depiction of both cirrus clouds and few cumulus clouds. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
December 19, 20169 yr @Murmur which flywithlua are you using in XP11 ? flywithlua itself is causing me an error without any scripts under the Scripts folder. I did redownload flywithlua but does not seem to work. A link would be appreciated Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

December 19, 20169 yr @Murmur your XP11 script feels nice, just did a test during lunch time @work. Will try with Clouds HD V2. This is using XP11 + NOAA + Clouds HD V2 + Murmurs XP11 Lua. Don't ask me the fps it was pretty silly . Flight area is Kodiak Alaska This one is @HUTO Tororo Africa same config as above Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 19, 20169 yr Nice. In X-Plane 11 there is a bug (at least I have it), in that if you are using modified cloud datarefs in a lua script, every time you start X-Plane you have to change the weather at least once. Infact, the first time it draws clouds, you'll get bad visuals and performance. So the weather must be changed at least once, to force a cloud redrawing. December 19, 20169 yr hmm ok will try it out. BTW is there no fix with datarefs to that cloud circle always above the aircraft ? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
